yesterday i found that my os (XP) can't show the hidden folder and File, after i enable shown hidden file in folder options.
how do i shown it back?

whenever i type my search sentance in google or yahoo search engine, it'll pop up many sentance that i taip b4 for me to chooice. i think this is so call auto save which can save previous key word. how to disable this function? so that when i taip, it wonldn't pop up any more.

yesterday i install my another sata harddics to my pc, i notice that there no jumper for me to set to primary or secondary,
actually my case is that i have a new sata harddics with window xp install on it from my friend, i worry about when plug into my pc, it can't reconigze which window to load, so i need to set my original harddics to primary so that it can load the original window. so, how to set sata harddics to primary or secondary? as i know for ide harddics there a jumper behind to set it.

i just wondering how to format a harddics without window's cd? (normally boot from cd rom). beside this method, any other method or way to perform this task?

Problem when loggon to window!

last week, my friend give me 2nd hand sata harddics with window install on it, when i connect to my current pc (to format it), during restart it show 2 window to let me choose, i choosen my originall window, then formatt it in log on window environment. Problem occur,when i restart it my Bios still apperear 2 window for me to select, in fact one of the harddics been taken out. so what should i do so that it back to normal condition. (original harddics is ide cable, 2nd hand harddics is sata cable)

last week i went to low yat, i notice that once a new pc has been build, they use pendrive to slot in to usb then separate partition in new hard disc, actually i wondering what software in side the pen drive, where can download it?

last week i just bought a new pc from low yat. yesterday when i start the pc, it totaly can't boot, the monitor screen remain blank. then i try to pick up one of the ram which i think is the ram problem, it bootable after take out one of the ram, BUT after an hour i put back the ram, surprisingly the pc work. have some of yours experience this type of condition before, actualy the problem come from where? hardware or software?

second problem, when i watching movie, my computer suddenly come out blue screen say that something was crash then restart, after a moment the same problem happen again. i wonder this type of problem is hardware problem or software problem again? should i send back for warranty or checking? What should i do to fix the problem?

2 x 1G ram

I m going to get my first notebook . In this moment, brand that come to my mind are toshiba satelite series and fujitsu life book series laptop, which cost around rm3000-rm4000. the porpose of this laptop for surver internet, movie, do assignment and sometime gaming. normaly how long warranty period & servcie and how about the realibility, durability for this 2 brand of laptop?
should i wait for the coming Aug pc fair or just buy in low yat? because i heard that if buy during pc fair can get discount or freee gift!
how abt other brand laptop and their realibility?

my pc bios unable to detact dvd room & LAN

need help, my pc bios cannot detect my dvd room and LAN even i keep restart my pc, when i log in to window my dvd room icon disapear and cannot connect to internet because of no network adapter been detected. the network adapter was build in motherborad, p5k. anybody can guide me how to settle this problem, hardware probelm or software problem?

i'm planning to get a new compact camera with price around rm1000, but the problem was how to choose a good and reliable camera? normally what criteria was use to judge a good compact camera? and is the charge adaptor able to allow 100V/110V input ac (normally adaptor 230v/240v input ac in malaysia), because i'll be using this camera oversea.
last question, some say AA battery is better that rectangular chargeable battery, and how abt the consumption of the battery of both type of battery? how do you think.

last week i went to low yat buy gc, i found that some shop offer 3 years warranty and some offer 1 years warranty on the same brand of gc. actually how long is the warranty of gc?
