Hi all,

I would like to know from some guru’s here regarding the below;

Property done SPA with Lawyer Firm A, however when requesting a total quote for POT & POC and all charges included from Lawyer A, they provide me a quote higher compared to Lawyer Firm B that I was able to identify. ( This includes professional fees,disbursements, MOT stamp duty and SST)

Based on my understanding of your go back to the same lawyer you will be able to get a better pricing, so I wonder how come Law Firm A quoted me higher than Law Firm B.

The question is;
1. what are the advantages and disadvantages to going with the same lawyer being Lawyer Firm A in this case?
2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of if I were to go with the Lawyer Firm B instead?
3. Will any issue arise or a delay in documentation or legally due to going with Lawyer B?
4. Is there cost I should be aware of that Lawyer Firm B is not telling me about that I should be aware of for appointment of new lawyer?

Appreciate your kind inputs, still a noob when it comes to legal matters for property and thus hoping to hear from the ones who knows this section better.

Wira roof panel replacement or sunroof

Hi I am looking for anyone that can suggest me the best option if I should change to a sunroof or go with whole roof panel replacement? My problem is the roof rusting issue which is from the front to the back and I need it done asap

My thoughts on the both and so my confusion:

Roof panel replacement
1. Very close to sunroof cost. The quote I received is close from RM1k to RM1.3k with no warranty
2. Not genuine proton roof panel as it’s no longer manufactured. So my concern on it’s quality
3. Worried if the new panel may have the same issue in the future. I know the initial issue is due to glue used but would there be an instance of it reoccurring ?

Sunroof:
1. It cozy somewhere aroun RM1.5k to RM1.7k very close to the above but lifetime warranty for leaking not on parts
2. The process will cut the middle portion so worried if the rust cancer will still effect the portion that’s at the edges of the original roof.
3. Does the sunroof panel go down after a long period of time?
4. Does it require Jpj approval as I plan to change car ownership after the roof panel is done
5. Does the roof rigidity get compromised with the installation of the sunroof?

Hopefully any experienced in this topic can assist me here. I would also like to know any shop that you can recommend with Value for money pricing and reliable workmanship.

Wira overhaul price and good workshop in kl

Happy New Year.

I am kinda new here and it’s my first post. Would like to get some sifu and legends to help me here.

My wira ‘99 mileage about 550k, never done overhaul and I am looking to do some restoration. The workshop I went to says that if it’s more then half million it needs to be overhauled even if it drives fine. I never had any major engine issues nor reduction in engine oil. Only see some oil leakage below the distributor.

Do I still need a full overhaul to be done? If yes, what is the expected price and if you can recommend me some reliable workshop which doesn’t cut throat.
