Bios Problem

Hey,

I want to reformat my com, which is not a big problem to do. But, somehow I can't change my boot priority settings or anything in my Bios settings. When i do change it, the com does not reboot and there's a continuous beep.

Help.

Computer not remembering password

Hey people,

Lately my com is being used like a bloody public computer, it's going hay wire.
My msn messenger doesn't remember my e-mail and password anymore.
I was talking to my friend he said last time that happened to him and that this is just the start; later on everything can't remember anything. ie Outlook.
Help please.

Could you list your fyp title. I am going to have to do my fyp soon and was thinking of proposing a title but not too what kind of title should i propose.

administrator account problem

hey,

somehow one of my pcs at home seems like it is running as if the account used does not have administrator privileges. I checked it and it states there that it has administrator privileges.
any ideas on how i can fix this?

bios beeping continuously

hey...i bought this mobo...
when i on it, it boots fine...it comes to the windows login/welcome screen...
then the keyboard and mouse refuses to work...
anyways thats not the prob...thats probably driver issues cause i upgraded com...
so i wanted to reformat my com...however...when i go into bios settings and change anything or even if i DONT change anything, just as long as i save and exit the bios settings the com does not boot after that...it just keeps on beeping continuously...
i sent the mobo for rma...they updated the bios but still same prob....
could it be because of something else?

problem setting up wifi connection

i just got myself a 2nd hand dopod 818 pro.
i tried connecting to the wifi in my university but i can't seem to do it because there is no advance settings on my pda...

Below are the steps which i can't set to connect the wifi in my university (these steps were written for lap tops)

"STEP 4:

Now click on the Authentication tab. Choose the EAP type to be Protected EAP (PEAP). Untick the "Authenticate as computer when computer information is available" checkbox and the "Authenticate as guest when user or computer information is not available".

STEP 5:

Click on Properties AFTER you have selected PEAP as the EAP type. You will see a new box with the title "Protected EAP Properties". Untick the Validate server certificate. Tick the "Enable Fast Reconnect" option. Make sure for the Select Authentication Method, Secured password (EAP-MSCHAPv2) is selected. Tick the Enable Fast Reconnect checkbox. Click on the Configure button and a dialogue box with the title EAP MsCHAPv2 Properties will appear. Untick the checkbox that says "Automatically Use My Windows Logon Name and Password"."

anybody here knows a way i can work arround this settings or a 3rd party software that can set these settings?

if i reformat all his current email and contacts will be gone rite?
if my assumption i correct...how do i backup those emails and contacts...

my fren's ping on hamachi seems 2 be very high(got reach 1000+) and going up down up down...
any idea y?

and he installed de patch from amd d...but still like dat...
oh yeah...when in game only his ping unstable...exit game stable...

on the mobo there are 2 integrated network cards...
but dunno y it only shows 1 network card in the network connections and device manager...

msn messenger eating up cpu usage

just wondering...any of y'all experience this...
i stay in campus during de weekdays wif my own com...but there are 2 coms at home...
recently dunno y this 2 coms at home very laggy when i run msn messenger...
they put cpu usage about 80+%
any reason y?

1st com is running celeron 2.66ghz and de other p4 2.4ghz...
both 512mb ram...

i applied just 2 try...sent back the modem 2 them already...
and 2day i receive a bill for RM230 from maxis...
