Issue Setting Up Unifi 5X Fixed IP ON Ubiquiti ER-

Hello Everyone,

I am having an issue setting up Unifi 5X Fixed IP On Ubiquiti ER-12. I have tried the following:

1. Setting the IP on the VLAN port and also the WAN Port and using both /29 and /32 Subnet
2. Set in static route and also using /29 and /30 subnets

Both of the method above doesn't work.

The way I tested to test the configuration was to perform Remote Desktop Connection from a different Unifi accounts to the 5X Fixed IP Accounts but doesn't work but it only work on the IP that was registered on the router which is only 1 IP on /32.

Any solutions from anyone?

Routers and Wireless AP.

Good day mates,

This is my current situation, I have a cable connection and an ADSL2+ connection and I would like 2 different Wireless AP for this two connections. My questions is that is it possible to have this 2 connection configured into one Router like a Cisco 2800 with the right modules installed into it and have to Wireless AP for each connection and without interfering with each other. To keep it simple, I would like to have 2 in 1 Router and that goes the same for the Wireless AP. Of course with individual gateways for each connection

Here is my question, am I still able to run windows xp on these rigs? or must i lower the specs for it and will getting the drivers will be an issue? Need some advice here. I am getting my Dell Alienware M17X soon and the hdd capacity I asked for is 1TB ( 2X500GB) but I plan to change the to a single RAPTOR HDD 2.5 This is the model WD4500BLHX. My question is

1. Can the laptop support this hard disk?
