Actually there is only about 70 years of lithium deposit left given current annual usage. And this is the best estimate since the demand for lithium is increasing every year. Lithium battery can be recycled but it does not look like the world actually has made any real effort to recycle them, just think of how you throw away your lithium battery in a phone, notebook or any other rechargeable gadgets nowadays.

It actually may look like electrical vehicles and many green projects will run out of battery before the world runs out of petroleum. gg.

Some of the more pessimistic opinion even think lithium will run out by 2025.

What is the rationale for set lunch?

Set lunch is only offered during lunch hours as a special package deal at cheaper price, compare to order ala carte. But if the restaurant can stay in business by offering bundle deal at such price, why restrict the hours instead of offering the deal whole day?

What is the special business and economic principles that set lunch deal is created?

Do they buy those raw materials in bulk so that they can reduce cost and offer as a deal, but if it is that case, it makes more sense to offer the deal all day long?

Or do they know they always have lots of leftover from yesterday that can be re-used to make the set lunch? But if that is the case, why not reduce the leftover by ordering less raw materials?

Or do they see it as a "limited edition" kind of advertisement to attract crowd? But in that case their employee only gets busy at certain hours and at other time can just goyang kaki.

One Time Password (OTP) Apps
in which one-time password software tokens generate OTPs using the same keys (“seed values”) and algorithms as traditional OTP hardware tokens. The authentication takes place when the user enters the OTP on the login screen:

My guess is it is probably some form of this above. A seed value is generated and stored on both Maybank server and your smartphone, which is later used to randomly generated a sequence of hash values. And then each authentication request essentially need the smartphone to match the randomly generated value with the value generated from the server. The idea is since other smartphones does not have the same seed value, it cannot generate the same value to authenticate the request.

The risk factors will then be:

1. How safe is the seed value being stored on the smartphone. Can someone lets say a repair shop getting hold of your smartphone can clone the value easily?

2. If some how your money is transferred away by someone else, you have no easy mean to claim from Maybank that you did not execute the transfer. The dispute is purely between you and Maybank with no other party involved. If Maybank insists that you are responsible, there is little chance that you can prove otherwise. Solution, try not to put in too much money in an account where Secure2U can transfer the money easily. Maybe keep most of the money in FDs can help?

Based on this assumption, then it becomes very critical that:

1. Do not give your smartphone to anyone for "borrow to make a call" purpose. As this might allow a stranger to clone your data and hence able to impersonate you to transfer your money away.

2. Anytime you have to leave your smartphone to someone else without you able to observe it, you might want to cancel Secure2U first before you let go of the phone. This will include obvious cases like selling your phone, send the phone to repair, even give it to your children for vacation use etc.

Episode 1: I Love Lucy (1950s)
Episode 2: Bewitched (1960s)
Episode 3: The Brady Bunch (1970s)
Episode 4: Family Ties (1980s)
Episode 5: Malcolm in the Middle (1990s)

So can you guess which sitcom will be the homage for episode 7 (2000s), and episode 8 (2010s)?

I think episode 7 will be The Big Bang Theory.

Today I learned that the latest advance in space tech, will now allow USA astronaut to actually take a shower in space, with 6 pints of water each shower. That is equivalent to 2 bottles of 1.5 liter water.

If you are to do this yourself, it is enough for you to take a bath? Lets say Selangor 1 week no water.
