Guidelines for US visa

Hello. Can i check how yo work in US? There is a us company who is keen to hire me but seems like they need to talk to a legal immigration specialist as it is out of their expertise to hire foreigner. My question is, is it difficult to get the working visa? I googled seems like HB-1 is the one to go? Or am i missing anything? Is the visa quota full ? Thanks.

Big boss always acknowledge my direct supervisor e

Is it common in workplace? The big ceo always acknowledge my supervisor who is 5 yrs senior than me although i am the one who do the work. I kinda feel unfair but admittedly my direct supervisor has been in this company for very long time already. Even the report or presentation done by me, the ceo will only applaud my supervisor instead of the actual person doing the job. Quite frustrated .. also i was hoping my supervisor will acknowledge my effort but he is quite fresh so i guess he didnt get the cue to do it.

Are u close with ur colleague

Are u friend with ur colleague? Sometimes find it hard to be close with them, after all work is work. Working time stressful facing them, then after working hour can still be friends ? Can invite others to their home for party, dinner etc? Am i the only one who find it odd to mix personal and working relationship as one single relationship hip?

Boss always hint me to OT

My company is very fast pace and for that reason, i m looking for new job. It is operated by china man attitude where they pay u x, expect u to worrk 3x. Ot seems to be norm and i do hv few colleagues jokingly say that i very punctual clock out my attendance. Similarly i hv a colleague same level as me, unmarried dude who always ot cause his responsibility is quite alot admittedly. As im fairly new, my jobscope not so wide yet. The problem is my boss seems to encourage ot. She has hinted me few times that ppl here very busy, need ot. I listen bit fed up tbh, if there is no need to ot, why shld i? I value work life and hv family back home. Neither am i a ceo of the company..

How do u counter this type of comment. At some point, i kinda guilty for clocking out on time seeing other ppl ot here and there

Hr still interview other candidate after 1 month

Hi sifus, i interviewed with company X 1 month ago. I hv a gut feeling it went well but after a month, still no news. After i follow up with the HR, told me they still interviewing other candidate until next week. He asked me if i receive any offer i said no. If i follow up with the HR next week, should i lie to him that i got an offer from another company and requires a yes/no from them soon ? Will it jeapordise my chance with company X ?

I find it ridiculous that it has dragged for so long while keeping me in a limbo.

dilemma in new company

i am relatively new to this company as i joined dec 2019.. i am considering quiting at some point, but then something inside me is holding me back at some point as well.

the reason for me wanting to quit is

1. the stress level, i wonder is this normal as i am fairly new to workforce. In this company, usuallly the president will say something, then the director is pass the task down to superior. they never say no to the demand. and every month, we will have to report our progress to the upper management

2. the demand. before i join, one of the directors made a big claim that they will produce X product. then this task was passed down to me, so i have to produce the result that was demanded..

3. my boss. he does not know a single thing ..probbaly because he is form different field. but from what i can gather, my team supported the boss very well meaning if the CEO ask him abt soemthing, my team is able to handle it well. i actually kinda lost respect to him as a boss.. i always wonder, how can a boss knows nothing and be so blur ?

4. company cultue. the company is very fast paced and dynamic. evryone is so gung-ho and i can see those who serve for long in this company, have this kind of 'die for company' attitude. even with the covid (before lock down), they are flying travelling everyhwere to conduct business for the company. they even have this sort of plan to bypass the regulation of the countries thy intend to visit should the country decide the ban visitor from Malaysia.

The good thing abt this company

1. they recognise your effort. they are not stngy with promotion from wht i can see.. evenin my departmet last yr there were 3 promotions.. but of cause, they work like horse

2. my boss appreciate the effort. he is dumb, but he sees the team effort. however, i still feel very frustrated working for this type of boss thou

3. i can see myself learning different things.. in fact if someone tell me i will be able to learn all these things before joining, i will be very happy. but right now, after i experience all the above, the motivation in me kinda went down..

should i stay or move on guys..? durng this period, i am quite depressed and stressed actually, sometimes it kinda affect my mental state, but something is holding me back from resigning..
