Bought used car - found out got parking summons

From Flexi Parking app, when you add in a car number, it can inform you of outstanding parking summons.

Bought in July, summons issued in January.

Will ask previous owner to settle la but if he decides not to pay, any problems in future?

Parking summons is with Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam, two tickets total RM140. But in the notification it was RM200, not sure got other summons or not.

AA battery for old compact camera

Sekarang trend main ol skool digital compact camera. Anak2 sy pun interested.

So I brought out old compact camera from storage, Canon PowerShot A495.

Tapi hoh, use alkaline batteries, even new Panasonic Evolta - the camera give error “Change battery”.

After trying a few more sets of Evolta batteries, finally got one pair that can turn on the camera, but it shows the batteries are getting low.

Any /k know good brand/types and reasonably priced AA batteries that can power these compact cameras?

I remember those NiCD rechargeable batteries have lower voltages and might not even be able to switch them on.

PETALING JAYA: An opposition MP has urged the government to call off its Hari Raya Aidilfitri programmes, saying its priority should be to help the victims of the Putra Heights gas explosion.

Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal said the government should not be celebrating while people who have lost their homes sleep in relief centres.

The government should immediately cancel its Aidilfitri programmes at both the state and national levels, channel the allocation to a special fund for the Putra Heights victims, and set up a special parliamentary committee to investigate the incident, he said.

Wan Fayhsal claimed the Aidilfitri programmes are expected to cost a total of RM10 million to RM20 million, accounting for catering, stages, logistics and “VIP protocols”.

“It would be more meaningful if this money is used to repair the victims’ homes as well as provide medical treatment, mental health support, financial aid for families who have lost their incomes, and comfortable and safe temporary shelters,” he said.

Wan Fayhsal also said the RM5,000 in cash aid for the victims is “far from enough”, as it will not cover basic costs such as house repairs, appliance replacements or medical aid.

Earlier today, Petronas said it has cancelled Aidilfitri celebrations across the country, out of respect for the victims of the Putra Heights fire. This includes the open house scheduled to take place in Kuching on April 11.

Ayam got friend ask help to troubleshoot why CCTV beep beep sound.

Go see, found out switching off and then on the DVR got clicking sound and beep beep is actually the HDD trying to spin up the drive in error recovery.

While there, found out alarm system battery failure.

So ayam go Low Yat today to buy WD Purple HDD and the 12V battery.

Went to a few big shops like Sri Komputer, All IT, etc - all say don't have. I then change tactics say UPS battery - all also say dun have.

How la, anyone knows where to get the 12V 7Ah or 7.2Ah battery?

Got to go to Imbi meh or worse still go Pudu?
Or Shopee je less than RM30 kaw tim.

Me chilling at 60km/h on left of two lane road while, those on the right lane including oil tanker and trucks going at 100km/h or more.

Reworded my post to help improve clarity.

Observations:-
The blue wire from the LED downlight connected to black wire from wall/DB. Brown wire (live) of downlight connected to blue wire from wall/DB.

There are three earth wires, 2 are screwed to the nylon connector block, one is left loose, dangling - none is connected to the downlight since there is no need for grounding as the downlight only have brown and blue wires.

My thoughts:
I thought black and blue supposed to indicate neutral, brown or red for live. Now got both black as neutral and blue as live, sigh. My reference is from the wiring in 3 pin plugs that - brown (live), blue(neutral), green-yellow (earth).

Still haven't tried yet replaced the downlight and see if the new one works because I bought the wrong size, getting the right one first.

Updates: I got a replacement - but is Mr DIY one because it's a Sunday and don't know of lighting shops, the ones I know are at Bukit Jalil (opposite Pavillion Bkt Jalil) - too far - will source for Philips branded ones next because the Mr DIY downlight diameter not really same as Philips.

Conclusion:-
Damn contractors, at first undersized the 12V power supply for the ceiling LED strips, now pull wires that could be confusing. They also pulled one wire from the same MCB to power two airconds in different rooms, resulting in one wall switch melting due to high temps from the current draw.

Another ktard mentioned to ditch the nylon connector blocks - that's quite true - the blocks which are not more than 3 yrs, have started disintegrating - one of copper tubing inside the nylon blocks have become loose and can come out of the block when I take out the connector block screws clamping the wires.

Granted that this model of downlight appears to not care about polarity - but let's say if I want to install smart switches in future, not knowing which wire is live or neutral could be dangerous - or cause leakage if I wire them wrongly.

Since coming back from work to now have seen 6 times emergency vehicles roaming with siren blaring.

3x bomba, 2x ambulance and 1 police, but there does not seem to be any emergencies/accidents around.
There was one time bomba on myside of the road and ambulance on the opposite side, I thought they were going to the same place - serious accident kot, but they go different directions, the bomba on my side of the road turned into a housing area, while the ambulance proceeded elsewhere.

Is there a drill or exercise involving emergency response services happening in Klang Valley?
