Hi, last month I created a topic in which I requested help from people from lowyat to advice me what to do.. However, that post was when we knew we were sued by TNB with fraud..
What to do when IC used to owe tnb money?

My father worked for a guy a long time ago in 1995, somehow that guy kept my father's ic and information and recently in 2020 we received information from bank that my father account is closed due to bankruptcy caused by owing tnb money. What can I and my family do? We obviously cant pay the large amount of money owed and we didnt owe it in the first place. Someone else used my father's information to run a business and set everything by his name but the property is not under the guy, he rent it to open business. Can I sue and win? Any cheapest law firm out there? Help please anyone.
