3 nut for tyre.. safe?

Just now when I change tire, I broke one of the bolt

Now I can only lock 3 nuts. One nut can't lock

So how? Is it safe to drive with 3 nuts?
Or do I have to change the whole disc brake? How much is it for Honda City?

Is it possible to have a Subforum in Kopitiam for Local and Foreign News

Now Kopitiam is like too rojak. If there is a subforum where people can post interesting news, then it would be easier to follow

Suggestion on Warning/Banning Policy

I would suggest that no 1 mod can put a ban on a member. He/She should get another moderator to confirm the banning.

And also, they should create a section that they state the reason why they warn/ban the user. It cannot be just ban without telling the reason. That is why people will be upset

This would be then fair!

Spending Habit

I believe everyone have this problem but problem is to what extend

For me, my this Spending Habit illness is quite serious. What makes it even worse is my sub-illness which is Impulse Buy illness.

To me, the pinch of spending RM1000 is like RM500. So spending something like RM50 means nothing

Lucky, I have control over my income, expense, savings and investment. I don't spend future money.

Mentally I know this is wrong. There are people out there who have to struggle to eat and survive. But when my sub-illness activates, everything is forgotten and just spend then regret later.

Am I alone here? Anyone got comments to share?

PS: I can't cut my Credit Card cause I use it a lot for traveling

Averaging Unit Trust?

I am wondering whether this way of investing is good?

Say my investment target is 10 years. I am expecting 10%pa compound

I know some years are bull and some years are bear

So let's say if I start buying RM100 per day for 10 years, do you think I will get the end result that I want? Is this way of averaging good?

Put example Public Regular Saving Fund (10 years history)

Public Mutual To Launch China Select Fund

Public Mutual To Launch China Select Fund
http://www.publicmutual.com.my/article.aspx?id=6081

QUOTE

Public Mutual's Chairman Tan Sri Dato' Sri Dr. Teh Hong Piow said PCSF is an equity fund that seeks to achieve capital growth over the medium- to long-term period by investing in a portfolio of investments in the greater China region namely in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan markets, including China based companies listed on overseas markets such as Singapore, United States of America and other approved markets. The fund may also invest in companies listed on Bursa Securities and foreign markets which have significant or potentially significant business operations in the greater China region. These companies include companies which have at least 30% of their earnings currently derived from the greater China region or have business operations in the greater China region which are projected to contribute at least 30% of group earnings in the next two to three years. "Up to 98% of the fund's NAV can be invested in selected foreign markets which include Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, United States of America and other approved markets. The equity exposure of PCSF will generally range from 75% to 90% of its NAV," he continued.

Launched at an issue price of RM0.25 per unit, PCSF is suitable for aggressive investors who can withstand extended periods of market highs and lows in pursuit of capital growth. During the 21-day initial offer period of 5 June 2007 to 25 June 2007, 1% FREE UNITS will be given away. The minimum initial investment for the fund is RM1,000 and the minimum additional investment is RM100.

I'm not savvy in these things, but is China market good now? Is it at it's top index like Malaysia?

Should one buy a house CASH or INSTALLMENT?

I'm actually thinking it over, whether one should buy a house (that is going to be leaved in) by CASH or INSTALLMENT?

Reason why I asked is because of the interest incur for the loan

As an example, Let's say one can afford a house at RM200k CASH and his income tax has been very transparent, would it be better to save the extra interest?

I'm not very sure about the BLR and interest calculation. If possible, can someone kindly clarify. Let's say the loan is 90% of RM200k, so the total loan is RM180k. So if a tenure of 30 years, how much in total should be paid?

I also know that some say if one got money, one should clear it earlier to reduce the interest. So in addition to the example above, let's say the loan of 30 years is shorten to 20 years, how much savings will one get?
