Hi,

Do I need to get MPPJ (Petaling Jaya) approval for installing backlane grill? the public lane where ppl use it for fire exit and etc.
I heard need approve for entire row house owner , submit plan, this and that (many procedure) but my renovation friend said don need approve.

to my horror, today i heard from my neighbours that one of the corner house was breakin. those indon guys take out entire corner grill window instead cut one by one. and they do it at 1-2pm beside main road.

question, what security i had to put since i also corner house. it is at kayu ara area.

very tension now since im going to move in by end of dec.

please advice what security i can have. those product name.etc.. problem is no gated security at my area.

hi

i have two kitchen set, normal L shape and island. to cut long story short, the material for my work top L shape kitchen change from solid surface into
laminate wood.

my concern is whether the work top will easily spoil due to water from the basin which located there.

looking for air conditioner for my new house, at least 6 aircon but something caught my eyes

multi-split system... not sure how it works but from the picture itself, we only need 1 outdoor motor instead 4 outdoor motor. it don't look messy. i seen b4 a house got 10 air con...it looks so messy..

anyone know how it works?

im not interested those in interior design area as they charge a lot...
im looking purely for good honest renovation shop.....must have shop..cannot that person do free lance..scary if he didnt appear and the work stuck half away..cannot find them..at least if got shop..easy to find...

I've been asking around and most of the window dealer/contractor said at least $3-4k to install this type of window.
I'm looking not more than $1k.

I don't need good and expensive material. I just want a window that has no other features but a window.

Need experience ppl, not talk only

my neighbor dog can bark non stop for many hours at night . there is nothing unusual and he just bark for no reason. i have complain many times to neighbor and even to MBSJ but no action taken. as result, i have to throw ice on the dog at midnight in order to make it stop.. got once neighbor confront me y i throw at his dog... with hardly 4-5 hours sleep due to this dog, i need someone who can really help..

paid deposit $1k 2 weeks ago to kian classic

reason is they quote me only $7k for island kitchen plus kitchen (dry & wet) ..solid surface.. they also went to my house n measure

to cut long story short.. they send me quotation n it was $18k..of course im furious... at 1st said $7k everything ..tat y we are attract to it and agree paid $1k deposit
they said must paid $1k as deposit for the drawing...

this sat morning im going talk to them and ask what happen...

anyone can share how can i solve this issue?

they said only half year warranty compare one year warranty (standard)

This weekend got Renovation Exhibition at Midvalley.
Question, with soooooooo many company how do we know whether they are trustworthy and good?

Oh yeah, I'm looking for PJ area contractor where their shop located at PJ area. my new house is at kayu ara. Last weekend, got a contractor from Kota Damansara came to my house and quote. they quote double of my budget. they simply quote me thinking i'm those rich ppl who dont mind to pay them extra. sigh... have to continue look for contractor that charge reasonable, not simply charge like loan shark.

can recommend as i been going each topic in this forum related to contractor and i blur...haha.....

Door wrapper

Hi,

I notice my future neighbor wrap existing developer door into high class wood door. because i do not have her number, i hope i can find at here how to do this thing or any supplier does it.

she told me instead change entire door, she ask those contractor to wrap with new skin/ wood. it totally look like another door but in fact its same door from developer.
it really look magic. she has changed the rest of his other room door as well.

anyone know such thing or where i can get this kind of things?

Balcony turn into room

hi

my question is townhouse balcony whether can turn into a room.
currently, left , right n top side is wall brick. front area 50% glass door. it is default from developer.
question is whether i can fill the remaining space with another glass window/door. if doing so, i can make the balcony as a room where i can put wardrobe n etc stuff.
i call developer, they say need check MBPJ.

i like try my luck here whether here got anyone that is knowledgeable or not or experience before.
mine is lower unit 1 1/2 townhouse at kayu ara.
