Plumbing for 30 years old House

Hi,

Just bought a 30 years old 1.5 storey house and currently In the midst of sourcing contractor for reno.

The question is should I redo all the plumbing until the meter outside or just do the inside of the house only? Plus, highly likely we’ll be changing the tangki also. Would the damage be significant? For the water tank I mean.
