Bad Wi-Fi coverage, new router?

Um, so my study table is in the corner of my house (second storey) , my Wi-Fi router is in the first storey. The Wi-Fi signal is pretty bad, can't load youtube videos properly, huge lag during gaming sessions etc. The Wi-Fi router I'm currently using is the one provided by Unifi.

Question is, should I buy a new router or to buy a Wi-Fi booster? If so, which kind?

https://www.tp-link.com/my/home-networking/wifi-router/

https://www.top10wifiboosters.com/my?adgrid...WAaAvJTEALw_wcB
