Firstly, i wish happy birthday the science lab
so now i gona start with a question i want to ask, most of you sure hear DDS, anyone can explain to me how it work? like software etc.. i know the basic idea, i read through website, but i really got some question to ask,
so if we are on cyber that use DDS, everytime system will back to a point(which) is same, but we can sure that, if there is cybercafe software installed (played timer - etc) we will saw there most of the software will write PC X where X is the number, arent that all client of the DDS is load from its server, how it can have different number ?

my PC, spec 1, not open for 1 month already, now i open back, first time it write detecting BIOS system, but very long, then i close it and reset my bios, but 2nd time open, screen blank, my CPU fan spim awhile and stop, then computer off again, then auto on again, CPU fan spin awhile and stop,.. and repeating, and the body of the CPU got current... what happen?
CASE SOLVED, MOTHERBOARD PROBLEM, SENT RMA.
now i got another thing to ask, my 2nd PC(at siggy) , the motherboard support DDR400MHz or not, cause in POST it state 333MHz only

first of all, thanks for paying att in this thread,
now my question is...
1) i got an old computer(3rd PC) in siggy, i wanna use it as multimedia player for DVD CD player etc, now the problem is, the motherboard output is VGA, now i have a TV with no VGA or DVI input, now can i ask can i get VGA to AV cable(red,white,yellow)
2)heard that D-LInk DSL-2540T router have bug with its firmware, that is will DC at certain of time, and while i using this Modem router, i also experience this? is it true, and how to fix it?
3)anyone have FREE fitine element method software like msc nastran?

ok, now i use CD from my father company(which he dont use already,he cahnge to XP), now i want to install via CD, but i get internal setup error, no swap place, so i DO
4X floopy bootdisk like you guys know, 4 boot disk for 2000, but only first disk boot in, i get Corrupt or missing txtsetup.sif file, now i no idea, how do you guys think?

Here it goes. As everyone know, PCI can transfer up to
533.3 MB/s and that the best case, for 64 bit and running at 66 Mhz
For the other PCI, we have
277.7 MB/s for 32 bit running at 64 MHz or 64 bit at 32 MHz
and
133.3 MB/s for 32 bit running at 32 MHz
respectively.
On the other hand, SATA bandwidth would be
1.5Gb/s (150MB/s) for SATA I
3.0Gb/s (300MB/s) for SATA II
6.0Gb/s (600MB/s) for SATA III
now lets say if i got an old old motherboard, which doesn't have SATA slot. In other word, if i need use SATA, i need to use PCI SATA controller. But looking at the above stat, if i have a motherboard which run PCI at 277.7 MB/s, i use the controller for SATA (Lets say SATA II), the only bandwidth i got is 267.7 MHz right?
