What's best way to clean inside PSU?

My Corsair VX550 is getting really dirty already, can see alot of dust inside cause it's sucking up all the dust from the ground in my CM690 lol. I can't open it cause that'll kill the warranty. Anyone have any idea what's the best way to clean the inside without opening it? My friend suggested compressed air but he said it can be dangerous also cause he blasted off a capacitor last time.

I'm using CM690 casing with Corsair VX550 PSU, will it spoil my PSU if I use it upside down? Cause the PSU intake fan at the bottom and the PSU must be mounted at the bottom of the case.

Question about mobo FSB.

I'm planning to upgrade my mobo and RAM on my old comp, if I'm getting PC800 RAM and not overclocking...those mobos that can support 1600/1333/1066 FSB are useless to me right? My friend told me to only get those high end mobos if I plan to overclock, is he correct?

Since i'm not overclocking, using a G31 over a P35 mobo has zero performance difference at all correct? Trying to safe cash on the mobo and get a faster processor.

Need advice on hair styling products.

Hi guys and gals, figured I'd post here since girls are more experienced with these kinda stuff.

I have soft wavy hair and my front fringes are about 4 inches long(slightly over my eyes). Without any hair products on, I can't keep them neat and they look dry. My hair looks the best after I've just washed them and dry them with a towel, brush them to the side while still slightly wet *perfect*. I'm looking for a hair product that deos something like that, I'm thinking something that has moderate hold and slightly wet look. Anyone have any recommendations?

I've tried wax, it makes my hair look dry and I think it is more suitable for ppl with short hair.
I've tried gel that gives a wet-look, but it makes my hair hard and kills my wavy hair look and looks way too shiny.
I've tried some water based stuff, well..its like water, look good for a while but useless after it dries.
The only product I have tried that came close to what I wanted is Vitalis, but I heard that product discontinued and it is oil based .

Thanks.

Basic home fitness equipment

I'm trying to get my body into shape and gain some weight, problem is there isn't any fitness center close to where I'm staying.
My only choice is to purchase some equipment and do it myself at home. Also I don't want to spend too much on the equipment at this point until i'm sure i'm 100% committed, so I want to start with just some basic equipment like dumbells, barbells, etc....so what are the bare minimum equipment that I'll need to start some basic weight training? I'm mainly interested in making my arms bigger and shoulders/chest wider, and most important gain some pounds. I am 174cm and 58kg, looking to hit 70kg. Your advice is appreciated.

MCSE CCNP at Guidance View

Hi,

I plan to take MSCE or CCNP(haven't really decided yet) soon and I've been doing some research on where to take these courses in the Klang Valley. So far from visiting the websites of the institutions offering these courses, I have narrowed it down to APIIT and Guidance View. APIIT everyone knows about them but the distance is an issue for me, on the other hand Guidance View which is located at Mid Valley is only like 15 mins away from my home but I've never really heard about them before and wonder if they are a reputable learning center. Their fees are much higher compared to APIIT for MCSE(RM10,000 vs RM6000), so...what makes this place so special that they're charging premium for their courses? If anyone has studied here before I'd really appreciate your feedback.

Also, I'd like your opinion on MCSE vs CCNP(yes i know there's like a million topics on this already ). According to my friend, MCSE is more practical as any company that uses Microsoft will find use for it, but it's value doesn't scale as you're pretty much stuck working the same thing over and over. While for CCNP, less employers will find use for it due to the scope of the things learned in CCNP but it will open you to more possibilities. In your opinion, is my friend's assessment on this matter any accurate?

Thanks.

How useful is a masters degree...

I graduated with a Comp Science degree bout 5 years ago, did it in the US. When I got back I got introduced to a guy who owns a mid-sized business selling UPS and he offered me a job as sales exec with pretty high pay. Being a little less matured that time I was blinded by the high salary and didn't thought much about my future. Anyway, I've been doing sales for this company for about 5 years and am still doing it now. I cannot tahan doing sales anymore, I want to leave.

I'm thinking about breaking into the IT field, probably something technical like a software engr, network consultant etc. But i think its gonna be hard for me considering...

i) I'm 28. Kinda old for an entree IT job? Not sure if they'll hire me because of my age.
ii) I have no working experience related to IT, so like I mentioned above I'll probably have to start at entree level.
iii) My computer science skills are rusty as hell after not using them for 5 years.

Which brings me to the purpose of my post, I want some opinion on how much of a jump start a masters degree is going to give me? Like if I did a masters in programming, after graduating where do you think I will stand in the IT job market? I'll have a masters but no working experience, not sure how useful that is going to be.

I'm thinking about doing it locally, and it'll only take 1 year to complete. Any recommendations on where I should pursue a masters degree? I'm really sick of doing sales already, so i intend to get out of it one way or another. My current options are starting my own business, doing a masters on an IT subject, or look for an IT job. I'm leaning towards doing masters but I really have no idea how much that is gonna help me once I'm done with it.

What do you guys think?

CRC Errors and latency.

Modem Status
Connection Status Connected
Us Rate (Kbps) 512
Ds Rate (Kbps) 1024
US Margin 22
DS Margin 18
Trained Modulation ADSL_G.dmt
LOS Errors 1
DS Line Attenuation 52
US Line Attenuation 31
Peak Cell Rate 1207 cells per sec
CRC Rx Fast 102
CRC Tx Fast 4
CRC Rx Interleaved 0
CRC Tx Interleaved 0
Path Mode Fast Path

Modem active for about 24 hours since last power cycle.

So the average CRC Error per hour is around 5. Is this bad?

When I do speed test I can still get close to max speed, about 880 kbps on a 1 MBps line.

The thing is I don't really care about download speed, as I use my dsl for gaming mostly. While the CRC errors deosn't seem to affect my download speed, I'm getting high latency and spikes while gaming. When I do tracert to the game servers it looks perfectly normal, so it deosn't seem like a routing issue. Ping to isp gateway and DNS is normal also.

Been trying to figure out the problem for months, and I suspect the CRC errors may be the cause of it but i'm not certain. So to the networking gurus out there, is CRC error and latency related? If not, then I really have no idea what is going with my connection lol.

Need help from Jaring Wired broadband user.

Hi, if you're a Jaring Wired broadband user, can you do me a favor please? I need a tracert to us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com. If you don't know how to do it, go to Run, type command, press Enter, type tracert us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com, press Enter, then just wait for like 5 minutes then copy and paste the results here. It will show whether the connection with Jaring is good for WoW or not.

The reason I'm asking for this favor is because I'm thinking about switching to Jaring as they cover my area, but I need to know if its better than Screamyx cause once I switch I'll be stucked with it for 1 year due to contract. Screamyx is about 800 ping for me in the afternoon which is the time I play the most, and I pvp alot so it's been an excersice of frustration. Your help would be very much appreciated.
