            <title>Contractor vs Interior Designer</title>
            <link>http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4944720</link>
<description>Hi all,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Im pretty new to this house renovation area, I am still deciding between hiring a Contractor or an ID. For sure, hiring an ID would cost more money but it will take off alot of hassle in planning and execution the renovation. ID will basically walk you through each steps of the process and finally the end product. For Contractors to my understanding, they just do what you want them to do. No additional inputs in the design layout or even the end product overall design. Is this true? Please do correct me if I got any facts wrong. Would really appreciate some feedbacks on this matter. And also for Contractor do we solely rely on them to do everything from flooring, lightings, plaster ceiling, built cabinets, painting or its better if we outsource them to different people. Therefore, we can be sure of the quality of work from them.</description>
