Which laptop

Here's the problem, I was quite set on getting the forge 15, but I realize that since the forge is a relatively new brand, I'm afraid that I might not be able to get the necessary support if I encounter any problems due to level 51 (the only shop in Malaysia(?)) closing down

Am using it for gaming and work (may involve simulations but little to no video editing)

Would really appreciate you guys to help weigh the consequences as well as provide me with some feedback if you've had experience with these laptops as well (battery, thermals, performance)

Am also open to other recommendations

PS i do not mind carrying the battery around

Been wanting to get a laptop recently and have stumbled upon a few.....the forge 15 elite and the acer predator helios 300 for starters.

I want to know whether an i5 variant with RTX 2060 would be a better option than an i7 with GTX 1660 ti; and if so why, if not why.

Will be using it for games such as GOD OF WAR and Sekiro for starters.....not planning to venture into any competitive titles, story based is what i'm aiming for.

Will not be using much on simulation but the possibilities exist, little to no video editing, which i understand is where i7 will win due to its higher core and thread count.
