Celcom overcharging on termination of contract !

Just to share my experience here.

Previously, I am on M98 Celcom Plan Corporate plan which supposed to end at 15 of January 2016 as per below.

Contract detail
Plan: Celcom M98
Price : RM40 per month ( monthly rebate of RM48 per month from initial RM88 )
Tenure : 2 years
Data : 5GB
Commitment fee : RM98 per month ( which waived in the contract, unless early termination , I will need to pay back based on pro-rate value) (agreement as per attached)

Duration : 15 of January 2014 - 15 of January 2016

Termination fee charged by celcom
date : 18 January 2016
charges : RM953.15

Contract duration left : i did the switch of plan to First Blue on 9th of January 2016 ( which is only 6 days before the contract ended)

I cant even see my January bill in the OCS. Thats weird.

My long story as per below :

I came across the tempting and affordable celcom First Blue plan which is RM45 / per month. Thus I decided to switch my current plan which going to ended at 15 January 2016 at the Blue Cube Mid valley ground floor ( on last weekend which is 9th of January 2016).

When I did the switch of plan to the new plan , the celcom staff didnt asked me to pay for the early termination fee of the 6 days and I thought it will be charged to my bill on Pro Rata basis instead.

Thus I proceed with the changed of from my old plan to new plan.

Understand from the staff, the activation of new plan would require 24 hours.

I seldom use the number as I am working in Singapore at the moment.

During 18 of January 2016, I am shocked when I saw celcom is charging me RM953.15 for my January bill.

I tried call their customer hotline, they confirmed the early termination fees will be based on pro-rata basis.
but when I asked on the reason why charging me for RM953 as I only terminate the contract 6 day earlier?,
the customer service consultant cannot answer me.
I suspecting they charging me the full termination fees for the whole contract without prorate it.

I thought termination fees for contract are based on pro-rata basis?
I am looking for refund for my payment, it is too ridiculous as I only terminate it earlier by 6 days.

Any celcom staff in Lowyat net here can lend me a hand on this ?
I had lodged my complain on OCS and CFM.

Conclusion: Please think twice when opt for Celcom contract plan.
