Asking for a friend, recently his low mileage c350e experienced airmatic suspension failure - basically car's rear end is resting against rear tyres.

Any Merc owners here who can shed some light on this specific issue? Roughly how much to replace and best course of action. Thanks.

Guys and gals,

I will be moving to a rented place for work. Now using Streamyx via DSL modem at my own home.

The rented place has P1 Wimax. I assume the white triangular thingy I saw at the rented place is the P1 modem with an ethernet slot (I assume).

Is it possible for me to just take my PC there and plug my Rj-45 cable into its ethernet slot and create new network connection?

NEED ADVICE.

AMD Radeon 6850 not working correctly...HELP

Hey guys,

I just bought an AMD Radeon 6850 yesterday and installed the latest drivers.

After installing the drivers, I experience choppiness when I'm moving folders or scrolling a page down and my display exhibit extremely slow refreshes.

Also, Direct3d, DirectDraw and AGP texture are not available. So I can't play any games. This happens not only with the latest drivers (11.6) but with past drivers as well (all the way back to 10.10). Hardware acceleration is set to full. Direct X updated to latest June 2010.

Even my old Radeon 4850 exhibits similar symptoms with similar drivers so its safe to say that problem is not with the GPU.

I even tried installing only drivers and not the CCC, but the same thing occurs. One thing interesting to note is that when I move the hardware acceleration slider all the way to none (to the far left), the screen choppiness and slow refreshes disappears.

Software related problem?

Please help.

I'm planning to buy a new PC this coming PC Fair...So I need the sifus here to analyse my PC build and tell me whether it's good or not...

CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 2.53 Ghz Wolfdale 45 nm

Motherboard - ASUS P5KR

Memory - 2x1GB Kingston DDR2 800Mhz Value RAM

GPU - XFX Geforce 8800GT 512 MB

PSU - Acbel PS2 Intelligent Power 510 (450 Watts) or Silverstone Strider ST50F???

together with 1 HDD, and 1 DVD-RW, Samsung 931BW 19" Widescreen and Cooler Master Centurion 5

Budget - RM 3000 (all within the budget liao)

Which PSU is better, Acbel or Silverstone (can both provide enough juice for my system)???? Is there any ASUS mobo better than the one selected????

Bios Flashing Service

I'm planning to buy a new PC from Gadget Zone in the coming PC Fair

I was wondering whether you guys do bios flashings for customers and if you do, how much do you charge?

I'm asking this because I'm planning to buy a 45nm Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 processor coupled with an Asus P5KR

Problem is.....the motherboard will only be compatible with the 45 nm processor if it is flashed to the recent bios revision. If the motherboard is not flashed to the latest bios revision, the system won't boot since the old bios revisions do not recognise the processor. You'll need to install a compatible processor (which I don't have) into the motherboard to flash the bios, take it out and then finally install the 45 nm CPU.

And I need someone to explain to me the differences between an Acbel E2 510W and a Acbel iPower Gold 550W . Which PSU is better for my system?? Are they both true power??
