having an amd cpu is good if your laptop simply sucks at cooling but when you put enough cooling into a chassis, the intel cpu is no deficit with an extra benefit of providing stability with no random amd bugs

With the launch of nvidia 30 series on desktop space also on the laptop space really soon, gamers are going to face the option of a complete upgrade with the release of AMD zen 3 CPUs which promise higher single core performance.

However, are the new amd zen3 cpus actually faster than intel 10th gen ones in real life like what the reviewers have shown with their gaming benchmarks again and again?

Also reviewers like to mention AMD CPUs are way cooler, is it also true?
Some say the Intel CPUs actually run cooler on gaming compared to AMD Zen 3 cpus

Intel 11th gen and Xe graphics performance is real

and from what I see this is running on a Intel-branded MSI Prestige which has just one-fan, that's some good performance gain for real for everyone, not just for people love to look at the boxes in task manager but don't know what to do with them

WOW new tigerlake intel cpu/laptops look amazing

The new round of cinebench scores of the intel tigerlake cpus are out and dang they look pretty great

per core performance has 20-30% increase compared to last gen fossils and amd while multi-core has reached the performance of 6 cores

can't wait for the new tigerlake laptops

also MSI's weird idea of stuffing a U-series processor into a laptop with a RTX2060 makes some sense now hmmm

what's the point of Aeon Plus Card

MSI GE66 vs Asus ROG Strix Scar G532

Saw MSI pushing alot of their new GE66 these days, then saw this semi-review/comparison

There's a simple reason why the MSI system is able to offer more than the thicker Asus alternative and that's because the GE66 is a newer design. MSI only recently made public the GE66 at CES 2020 whereas the Asus G532 is merely an internal refresh utilizing the same chassis as last year's G531. Asus may have had a yearlong head start, but that meant MSI would have more time to refine their own competing design.

This isn't to say that the Asus G532 doesn't have its own list of advantages. Most notably, the laptop has three M.2 storage slots compared to "only" two on the MSI and it supports Asus' proprietary Keystone feature as well. Even so, it's a shorter list that, to some users, might not make up for the other disadvantages against the MSI system. The Asus may still be worth picking up if you can find it at a lower price point and if you don't care about the extra ports and features of the MSI.

There are still a couple of things that we want to see improved upon on both laptops. Firstly, CPU temperature when gaming averages above 90 C to be a lot warmer than what most gamers are comfortable with. Secondly, fan noise is very loud at well over 50 dB(A) each. These systems are really pushing the boundaries on what gamers would consider acceptable in this regard.

RON 95 or RON 97

Feels like when pump 97 my car goes smoother but is it just that or pumping 97 helps to preserve the car engine also?

ron97 is always about 25% more expensive but one tank now is just rm15 more than pumping ron95(compared to 30-40 before)
