I have a Mi 9 and it has been draining battery using the official MIUI 12. I also got a lot of ads in the system apps, which I never can turn off all of them no matter what adblockers I installed. I got frustrated and desperate, so I tried out the famed custom MIUI 12 from Xiaomi.eu. They are very good in extending my battery and so smooth and sleek. I recommend this for other phones too, since this is a custom rom. You wouldn't regret!

On Namewee's BABI

Banning Namewee's new movie is an understandable act from the government, but perhaps there is a way out. We have to look to the West again this time, to Germany. Look at how they teach about the darkest history of their country. In full force, they condemn the killings and injustice, the crimes. Hitler's Mein Kampf is still available, but added with huge commentaries to correct his view. They also make pupils to visit the concentration camps, where they have walls of name tags and each visitor given one, to never forget the past. It completely devastated the children to see the inhumane courses but they will grow up to be more open.

Malaysia is still very conservative. We have socioeconomic imbalance that created cultural prejudices and the racial political dynamics further deepens the taboo to even discuss openly. Many of these can be traced back to 1948 Malaya Union. When the Malays fought for their religion and race and king, the Chinese were more attentive to the civil war in China and still hateful towards the Japanese. It consolidated the Malays' view that the pendatang only care for themselves and their benefits. But what is missing were the Chinese's point of view that many of their own family members were still in China, some died of hunger, some died tortured by the Japanese. They have deeper pains to address. Both sides didn't mix as much then, but things are changing now, albeit only small chats in the mamak, reddit or lowyat. Namewee's movie could be a pain to watch, but a piece to be reflected upon.

The true babi is here in front of us. Don't ignore it. It is our government. A rich country like Malaysia shouldn't suffered. Babi can't restore the past glory but inciting deeper racial differences. They will never fight for the 3R they say they will. Oh, especially not PAS.
