wasted my time and money to go watch this.

the theme is interesting but this film is filled with so much political messaging. reference to trump, and encouraging ppl to commit violence. like his assassination attempt.

plot and theme all over the places. no sense of direction.
pacing is terrible.

and robert pattinson saying how great this black lady is in the movie..
instead of showing us how great she is through storytelling and character growth.. film also directly (not even subtly) encouraging open relationships which ruin society and community.

there is so much potential to tell a great scifi story here.. dammit..
wanted to leave the theatre half way but stuck till the end and suffered.

recently got see news about price hike on insurance premium and got some discussion with friends.

then also got talk about the recent Luigi shooter that killed the insurance company CEO in US.

i feel macam a lot of rakyat struggling, then claim rejected somemore and premium price increase..
are these companies super greedy? or medical cost is just keep rising? macam beli rumah

hi kopitards,

ayam noticed in past months, my youtube and IG feed suddenly got those manosphere / alpha man videos.

so i entertain lah. tekan masuk tengok.
then i found myself watching more of those videos..

after few months, i realised i macam treat people around me poorly.

so i start look it up. apparently there are groups of "creators" that make videos to tackle your insecurities. (financial, looks, social, etc)
make you feel that your insecurities are CORRECT, and it's the society fault.
they are also called GRIFTERS because they profit from selling you courses, etc

becareful of the content you consume.
sometimes they reinforce your insecurities to bring more negative into your life.

have you got personal experience in this? do share~

recently I learn about Chinese wedding tradition, where daughter is consider spilled water after marriage.

the mother (from the bride side) will pour a bowl of water out of home as her daughter leaves home with the groom.

does anyone know of this culture is from which ethnic group of Chinese?
Hakka, Hokkien, Cantonese, Teochew?

my uncle said his niece is doctor.
say is government hospital.

he said she earn a lot of money and buy high end condo by the sea around 900k price.

i was having a great chat with this girl.
almost daily chat for 2 weeks.

we have a lot of things in common.
conversation also turned flirty.
and we met on first date over dinner.

after that, we went to some cafe for dessert.
then that was the night.

throughout the date, the conversations were great, there's jokes, there's compliments from both sides.

but on the next day, everything just went silent.

i'm currently dilemma on which loan to clear first.

my myvi loan currently left around 35k. (9year loan, car is 4 years old this year)
my house loan still got 240k.

should i put my 35k savings into fully settle the myvi or put into house loan to reduce the principal and interest?

i have no intention to invest this savings. it's purely for settling debt.

a peer of mine used to ask me, have I ever thought what if my career don't last. It probably falls off due to some incident that caused inability to perform at work.

my answer in my mind was, then I just have to maximize, appreciate and do my best until I'm no longer able. reason is because I love what I do.

but he just shrugs off the answer. like he disagree or something.
then years later he slowly becoming a boss. Hiring people to do the work he used to do.

what do you think? have you been on this train of thought?

i have not been up-to-date with the range of reno cost psf over the years. this is referring to the reno cost in Penang, Malaysia.

currently in 2022, how much RM psf for reno is consider low, medium, high for a 900sqf unit? New house.

I did mine in 50k. General list of reno works below
- living room (tv cabinet, plaster ceiling)
- kitchen top, cabinet
- master bedroom (bed and wardrobe)
- foyer (plaster ceiling)
- only minor job like plaster ceiling and glass panel for both bathroom.

Edit: excluded bedroom 1. i didnt do that one.

i estimated this range below. is this accurate as per your experience?
low = below RM45 psf
medium = RM45 to 70 psf
high = RM75 to RM100+ psf

just came back from weekend jalan-jalan at Sunway Carnival. now they already expanded, got more shops.

i also wented check out the Jaya Grocer. see what vege looks good

actually now the roads around the mall there also got change a bit.
now from BKE direct can turn into the new expansion mall.
also noticed upstairs carpark got many EV carpark lots (i saw like 1 good row of 10 lots lah. maybe got more)

ok lah quite big news for mainlander in Penang.
