I'd like to propose a new sub forum named "Strawberry Kopitiam"

Purpose : To allow strawberries who kena scammed 10k/trolled/bought 75"/RoPlayer etc to create post to seek out comforting advice or a pat on the back or a cookie from users so they feel better about themselves.

Of course there must be rules to this sub forum such as mandatory "LIKE" on all post so the poster feels better and mandatory sugar costing of any predicament faced by the poster. Kena scammed 10k? Don't worry mate, karma will get them and God will find a way to drop 100k back to you. 75" TV haven't arrive? Don't worry bro, just buy another one at the same discounted price. Fed up having the need to keep deleting trolls from your post just because you're named RoPlayer? Don't worry, they must Like your post!

I should give credit to the guy who inspired this idea but I cannot tag him until there's a strawberry section.

16 mths since our country's very first lokdown and consequently promoted the WFH culture that we see today. Some miss the office and all the perks that comes with it while others are happy with the new WFH arrangements saving travel time and can work in their pajamas. There is no doubt, WFH arrangements is here to stay. It forces every business to think outside the box and I believe many business has seen WFH as a long term thing moving forward. The company not only saves on office space, but could also see an increase of productivity and employee well beings. On the other hand, should the company share the savings they made from turning their office workers into home workers? Undoubtedly the workers need electricity and internet for example to perform their daily task. These cost money,lots of money in the long term. Would it be fair if the company, Tai chi operation cost, so to speak, to the staff?

Do you WFH?

Is WFH a permanent arrangement for you?

Do you see an increase cost in household utilities? Or is it negligible?

Just curious, with 20k a month you all have many disposable income and can invest.

If you know a super investor and he ask you to let him invest your money for you, would you still invest with him if you found out he's renting and ask his landlord for moratorium?

Maybe he reinvest every ringgit into stock?

Salah staff no update hyper link card - I choose you[I]

A Unifi Broadband Lite plan priced at RM38, which is aimed at users in areas where fibre connectivity is not available, has been updated with 50GB monthly data allocation.

Previously, the company listed the plan’s data allocation as 1GB.

Website Amanz reported last month that the plan was spotted by users on the Unifi Community forum. The plan drew criticism from users on the forum who felt that the monthly 1GB allocation is not enough to meet the standards of daily average use in current times.

Telekom Malaysia ™ in a statement to Amanz clarified that the Broadband Lite 1Mbps plan is not new as it was first introduced in 2015, adding that confusion may have arisen when its team updated a link on the forum posting to replace the original plan which has since expired.

The plan has a download speed of up to 1Mbps and comes with a 12-month contract. According to its FAQ, users must reside in areas without fibre network availability to be eligible to subscribe. This plan is also not open to existing Unifi customers.

TM in its FAQ claimed that 50GB data is sufficient for 2,000 hours of Internet surfing, 200 hours of video streaming, or 2,500 hours of Facebook without watching videos, among others. It also advised customers to turn off their modem if they are not using the Internet as it may affect their available data quota.

The telco added that users will have their Internet speed throttled to 128Kbps upon reaching the 50Gb data cap. However, users for the plan currently can’t view their Internet quota utilisation online. Instead, they have to check with the TM Contact Centre by dialling 100 or reach out via Live Chat through the website, myunifi app or TMpoint outlets

Since the announcement of the end of emco in Selangor, fuyoh my phone ring non stop. 12 site that was closed before will buka Monday including the site with 800+ worker positive covid just a week ago.

NO MC AT All DURING WFH

Since MCO 3.0 started in June, I've placed most of my office staff on a WFH arrangement, coming in office if and only when it's absolutely needed. Today meeting with HR, at some point she said jokingly that our arrangement for WFH even though we have approval from gov to operate at 60% is a good decision because in the month of June there is no MC at all. Zero. Nada. Kosong. No MC! Can you believe it?? On a general scale, in the past 5 years, there was never a calender month where there was no MC for an entire month. On an individual scale, I have some staff 1 year MC kurang2 14 days. Conlanfirm. Every mth surely got MC when check back on the records so lo and behold, June semua sihat. Almost 200 office staff semua sihat bulan June. If I decide to continue WFH forever can I unsubscribe our company insurance?

Unbelievable I tell you. Especially those you-know-who monday/cuti eve conlanfirm MC type of staffers all sihat. OK lah, sihat is good la. Let's think positive right... Lol

Those manager in the forum, surely you got some staff MC kaki. After implement WFH did you see a drop in MC? Also, punctuality also very good when WFH. Seldom ppl clock masuk late already.

There's many topics talking about how one's internet speed equals to life quality and I have to agree, high speed internet is really a blessing. You get what you want, with minimal downtime and that just makes you a happier person.

So all these makes me think way back when, during dial up, isdn, streamyx etc days and I remember, Kazee/torrent games to play.

The single, longest download I have ever endure was downloading Homeworld. I don't remember the size but with the pc constantly on 24/7,downloading on streamyx 512kbps, I've waited 20 days for it to finish downloading using p2p. After that, pray to God while unzipping the installer and hope it works if not will feel really down.

How long have you waited/endured for something you want on the internet? Die also wait.
