Therefore I requested a refund from the salon and i got the standard response from them indicating that a &quot;no refund and no cancellation&quot; policy is buried in the fine print of their T&amp;Cs.<br /><br />However, I read that no refund policies for future services are illegal according to the Consumer Protection Act.<br /><a href='https://asklegal.my/p/no-refund-policy-illegal-malaysian-law' target='_blank'>https://asklegal.my/p/no-refund-policy-illegal-malaysian-law</a> <br /><br />The salon claimed that i have violated the service agreement that was initially agreed upon and demanded the remaining 50% of the payment. They will only allow the unused services to be refunded via a replacement for other products or services only after I have paid the entire package in full. In a way, I am forced to spend the contracted amount be it in the form of services or products.<br /><br />I refused to pay the remaining 50% as I have already overpaid and know that I will not be going in anymore. I am also not interested in buying or trying their products.<br /><br />So, they asked me to send in a legal letter to them by all means and even blocked me on social medias.<br /><br />Has anyone successfully gotten a refund from any of these salons with the help of Tribunal Council or KPDNHEP??
