This movie is widely claimed by many critics and viewers as the most scary and disturbing Horror movie in decades, maybe even the scariest. It is not your usual hollywood horror movie jumpscare, this movie is going leave you disturbed for days.

I m going to watch it alone in my room. I m not afraid because i m very oblivious to all the supernatural nonsense people claim to face.

There is something deeply evil about Hereditary. As a film, it has its intellectual downfalls–relying, at times, on genre cliches, and sometimes presenting jump scares in place of earned justifications–but as a visceral experience, A24’s latest indie horror is singularly torturous. The last hour of the movie, a hellish onslaught of the senses, had audience members in the comfy suburban Queens AMC multiplex where I saw the film screaming in shock, with some folks rushing out of the emergency exit in a trail of popcorn and panic, yelling “fuck this!” as the door slammed behind them.

This downright demonic experience had me–a lover of horror and all things demented–covered in a cold sweat, worried that I might have a panic attack. After toiling all night with terrible dreams about clicking noises and naked old pagans, I woke up the next morning wondering if I could, in good faith, recommend this film to my friends and loved ones– it’s affecting, but is it okay to encourage an experience that is likely to rustle up some actual pain?

Update: Not scary in the least bit. Story abit shallow, but still entertaining because i like American northwestern rural towns. I like the setting.

Safe Refuge Given To Fugitive

KOTA KINABALU: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador says that an “irresponsible” country continues to protect Low Taek Jho or Jho Low from being repatriated and a possibility of him having undergone plastic surgery to evade arrest.

Abdul Hamid said the country was taking an approach of not giving any assistance to Malaysia and making it difficult to repatriate the fugitive businessman wanted for the 1Malaysia Development Bhd scandal.

“We have requested this country to extradite him. It seems he is enjoying immunity there.

“We have made different approaches to get him sent back, but they (the country concerned) always gave different reasons and even claimed he had undergone plastic surgery, ” he told reporters after presenting certificates of appreciation to 16 personnel at the 14th battalion of the General Operations Force in Tawau yesterday.

“I am still engaging with the authorities there. Whatever conditions they are asking, I am ready to listen but the main thing is we want Jho Low back, ” he said.

He said police would continue their efforts to bring the suspect back to Malaysia by year-end.

He said all countries must work together and not protect criminals with political links.

“We are investigating a crime. He has robbed a country and is now being protected in another country, ” he said.

Abdul Hamid said police were investigating claims of Jho Low having a Cypriot passport.

“We have received the information, he is exploiting the country that needs money for their economy, ” he said.

The Star previously reported that Jho Low may have assumed a new identity to evade arrest after his superyacht Equanimity was seized by Indonesian authorities in February 2018.

The police and immigration authorities in Malaysia and Singapore believe Low could have had facial reconstruction surgery, altered his features and has assumed an alias.

Investigators do not have Low’s latest pictures and those in their possession were taken before 2015, making it a real challenge to track him down physically.

Meanwhile, Abdul Hamid said on claims that some Sosma suspects allegedly involved in LTTE activities were abused during police detention, their lawyers should lodge a police report and make a complaint to the judge.

Edit: I FUCKED UP. I got stupid. One seller offered me 30 for a very good quality mousepad, very smooth, ori price rm 46. Went to another shop, offered rm 20. Bought rm 20 one. Came back home, feel like using axe to chop my own head off. Pay extra 10 won't face tgis piece of shit quality mousepad.

New projects for Tanjung Piai is COINCIDENCE

Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Dr Sahruddin Jamal (pic) has defended yet another round of project announcements by the Pakatan Harapan government, saying that it is not an inducement to gain votes.

He announced about RM11.75mil of allocations for Tanjung Piai, saying that the late MP Datuk Dr Md Farid Md Rafik had worked hard to boost development in the parliamentary constituency.

“There is no gula-gula (sweets or inducement). It was Dr Md Farid’s request, ” he said after launching a High Density Polyethelene (HDPE) system for saltwater fish manufacturers at the Kukup ferry terminal yesterday.

He presented two mock cheques during the event.

One cheque for RM8.75mil for the construction of multipurpose halls and upgrading of fields in five areas – Kampung Rambah, Kampung Sungai Karang, Kampung Maju Jaya, Kampung Sawah and Kampung Ulu Pulai.

The other cheque for RM3mil was for the building of five open school halls.

Last month, Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun announced the installation of 264 street lamps in the rural areas of Tanjung Piai and grants worth RM230,000 for village chiefs.

Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman had also spoken about an allocation of RM4mil to upgrade six futsal courts and one football field there.

On Oct 21, Agriculture and Agro-based Minister Salahuddin Ayub said there would be RM3mil in funds to upgrade jetties.

And just a few days ago, Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced a RM14.7mil allocation for 17 projects there.

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said that these allocations for Tanjung Piai were just a “coincidence”.

Prior to yesterday’s event, Dr Sahruddin visited fish breeders in Pulau Kukup who were affected by the monsoon season.

He said that two new cages with the HDPE system worth RM115,000 funded by the Johor government would be built on the island.

It was reported last month that preliminary investigations by the Fisheries Department found that the cause of death of some 100 tonnes of fish in Pulau Kukup was due to pollution, as the fishes were bred too close to the shoreline.

My ceiling light got problem

My room have 2 ceiling lamp 4 way switch. So to on the light i have to flick the wall swtich multiple times to on the particular light i want. That one ceiling light that i always use is acting weirdly. When i on off on off on off switch untill that light turns on(which is how i on it every time since the bangla set my lights in the last 2 order) , it just stayed very dim weak glow. So i turn it off and repeat the same process but still very dim. Untill i repeat 5 times only it switched on brightly.

Sorry if i sound like 4 yr old kid explaining electrical problems. Is it power connection problem or failing led problem?

He agrees. Hugged for more than 10 seconds. Door knocked. She release him and said "I have to get that" like secret lovers.

Nothing dirty, she just misses her son so badly. But Broadchurch could have omit that fking cringey scene.

Why don just buy 2 RM 6 Mix & Match Mcchicken rather than buy one RM 9 McChicken set. Like this i get two chicken burgers and 2 fries for RM 3 extra. Mcvalue set RM 9 only get one burger one fries one drink.

I will usually take meat and vege, and one side, could be tofu, egg or potatoes. Today, i took 5 pieces of pirk chop, one fistful of Kailan, and half a full size tofu you fimd in supermarkets.

Problem is, i cant actually eat that much. I m not like Darth Vader who does all the physical activities.

My dilemma: Mixed rice usually charged by how many types of dishes. So if eveniif i take less pork chop, it will be 7.50. Tofu and vege take alot lot vs one spoonful also no difference. Should i take more and be a fat happy Sith lord, or take less and feel cheated?
