Selain aspek teknikal sekolah, tinjauan itu hanya mengemukakan tiga soalan, iaitu jumlah keseluruhan pelajar, jumlah pelajar yang memakai kasut hitam dan jumlah pelajar yang memakai kasut putih.

The decision was made based on the 100th Meeting of the Jakim Syariah Experts Panel held last April on laws (hukum) regarding Muslims participation in Ponggal festivities.

The letter also states that Muslims should not insult the gods of other faiths.

"(Muslims) should wish friends and neighbours with no intention of renouncing Islam," he continued.

Ponggal is a Tamil harvest festival and is not exclusive to Hinduism or any other religion.

It is celebrated over three days and starts on the first day of the month of "Thai" in the Tamil calendar.

It is a celebration to mark a bountiful harvest and ushered in with the hope for a better year ahead.

The highlight of the festival is the boiling of milk and rice in a new clay pot and ensuring that it boils over to signify abundance.

Very soon, all Ponggol celebration in school will sure have toyol like PUTRA make pulis report with this letter as excuse.

For those too young to know, here's why:

1. Unique! Most 8bit (and later 16 bit computers) are NOT compatible with one another. Every one is unique. Not another METOO Windows, Android, Mac or Linux. It was so exciting learning each of them!

2. Simple Architecture - One memory block. Do whatever you like to it. Usually one section for VIDEO RAM and one section for SYSTEM RAM. You can poke the memory bit by bit to make pixels appear on the screen. Damn high.

3. Never Need Upgrade or Patches - Apa bodoh ni? 8 bit never need them!

4. No Internet Security needed - now IS software is like gengster asking for protection money. Those peaceful days, no gangster asking you money every year!

5. Runs on your TV and radiocassete! - TV for monitor, cassette for data storage. Hard disk does not exist. Woo Hoo!

6. All in One compact - The cpu and motherboard usually inside the keyboard itself dam chun. Just don't ever drop your keyboard.

7. Age of the 3 channel sound - Square Wave Synthesis were the flavor of the day. C64 SID is legendary. Most other 8bits use a AY-XXXX Yamaha chip i think.

8. Loading Time - Oh yeah...3 to 5 minutes for loading a game from tape. Some system even slower. If it breaks halfway, you have to start again. Plenty of time to drink coffee and smell roses while you wait. Nowadays, all too kancheong want immediate respond NVME. Cannot wait ah!!!???

9. Programmers pushing hardware limit with strange new tricks. Really innovative, not like pandan now all depends on Direct X and GPU.

10. The Explosion of Demo scenes.

Sithambaram: (Referring to a court document) The number of items purchased are 10 items. A single gift for EUR763,500 which was the equivalent to RM3.282mil.

Najib: It looks like a set. A set of 10 items. I have to check with my wife. She bought the items.

The prosecution then moved to questioned Najib on the controversial Chanel watch worth RM466,000 that he bought for Rosmah from the United States on Dec 22,2014.

Sithambaram: You would agree it was quite a luxurious gift?

Najib: Yes.

Sithambaram commented that the purchase obviously had nothing to do with corporate social responsibility (CSR) that Najib had said he did with the monies in his account.

“Compared to the amount I spend on CSR, this is quite small, ” Najib replied.

Sithambaram pointed out that Najib had said the watch was “the one and only” personal purchase, and Najib agreed.

Sithambaram: I put it to you, there have been many other personal purchases made from the same credit card.

Najib: I agree but they were much, much smaller items. It was more of a convenience actually.

“The rest of the purchases were not as significant or less significant, ” Najib added.

Sithambaram: Compared to the Arab donation, you mean? These would be considered significant for most people.

Najib: Yes.

Sithambaram: Was any of the Arab donation given to the flood victims?

Najib: I can't recall, but the flood victims were well taken care of.

Najib is facing seven charges – three for criminal breach of trust, one for abuse of power and three for money laundering involving SRC International Sdn Bhd funds totalling RM42mil.

The hearing continues before Justice Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali on Jan 20.

PUTRAJAYA (Jan 8): The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has released a number of phone recordings revolving around former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak when he was sorting out the issues surrounding the investigation into 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) in 2016.

At a press conference today, MACC chief commissioner Latheefa Koya played nine clips of phone conversations between Jan 5, 2016 and July 29, 2016 across nearly 45 minutes combined.

The recordings, she said, were received by the MACC "after the new year" (January 2020).

"We are quite satisfied that the recordings were authentic," Latheefa said, adding that the dates for each recording were stated in the name of each file.

Latheefa added that the MACC does not see how releasing the clips is subjudicial to the ongoing court cases involving 1MDB and Najib, as the release was done in the public interest.

Ex-MACC chief Dzulkifli Ahmad leaked AGC information to Najib in 2016
The clips are in three parts. The first part include conversations involving a person who appears to be former MACC chief Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad — then a deputy public prosecutor in the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC).

Dzulkifli was heard briefing Najib on an investigation paper in January 2016, which Latheefa said should be the one on former 1MDB unit SRC International Sdn Bhd.

Dzulkifli was heard saying that the Attorney General — then Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali — was "very good" but that the recommendation by the MACC on the case was troublesome.

"It is very bad… [Former MACC chief Tan Sri] Abu Kassim [Mohamed] cannot wash his hands and say he was not involved with the decision [by the MACC]," said Dzulkifli.

"From the legal side, Tan Sri Apandi can handle, I can handle," Dzulkifli was heard saying. He added that while there is no issue with 1MDB as at January 2016, Najib was "played" by past incidents — likely referring to before the sudden top-position reshuffling in the nation's executive body in 2015.

Dzulkifli was also heard speaking to another person, which MACC identified as Najib's former private secretary Tan Sri Shukry Mohammad Salleh.

Najib scrambled to shake off money laundering allegations, sought UAE help
Meanwhile, separate recordings captured conversations between Najib and parties from the United Arab Emirates, including UAE Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Mubadala Development Co managing director Khaldoon Al Mubarak.

The calls were made following US Department of Justice announcement in July 2016, of the billion-dollar scandal involving 1MDB.

"We are experiencing a bit of dark clouds, as a result of yesterday's announcement by the DoJ," said Najib to the crown prince.

Najib was also heard asking for a "personal request" — for the UAE to establish a "loan agreement" between his stepson Riza Aziz and UAE deputy prime minister Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, due to the 1MDB money trail to Riza's Hollywood film production house Red Granite Pictures.

"The problem is relatively small, if there can be an agreement with Sheikh Mansour, a loan agreement, that will show it is a legitimate financing package, not money laundering.

"He is under pressure in America, and I am worried about him being a scapegoat.

"I would appreciate if that agreement can be signed quickly so it appears as a legitimate loan. When he received it, the bank cleared the source of money, so he was not aware," said Najib.

"I don't want him to be a victim. He genuinely believed it was from Aabar [Investments PJS], from Sheikh Mansour.

"I need that agreement to be sorted out quickly," Najib told the crown prince. "He said all he wanted was to make movies, and there was an offer of loan from Sheikh Mansour."

Najib had asked to meet the crown prince personally in July 2016, but the request was later rejected.

Rosmah advises Najib to manoeuvre
Another recording was between Najib and a person MACC identified as his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, where Rosmah was heard shouting at Najib to "advise" him on the matter.

"Will you let me advise you?" shouted Rosmah at one point. "Darling, you are the PM you have to take control. You have goons around to advise you," she had told Najib.

From the conversation, it appears Rosmah was actively in the know about the politics surrounding Najib. There was unhappiness towards Abu Kassim's role in the investigations into Najib.

"They tell us to slow down on Abu Kassim, but now he is making statements," said Rosmah, referring to what MACC officials clarified as the surprise press conference by Abu Kassim on June 23, 2016 when he told the press there was no pressure for him to resign from the anti-graft agency.

Rosmah also advised Najib to bypass his then-special officer Datuk Amhari Efendi Nazaruddin to communicate with Khaldoon, and to invite Khaldoon to their home to discuss the tangle-up and resolve it once and for all.

"Bukannya dia x kenal kita, pernah makan minum rumah kita (It is not like he (Khaldoon) does not know us, he's had a meal in our home," said Rosmah. "Then tell the crown prince. We wasted one week already."

Najib responded that the UAE parties "wanted to see movement", and that "the Chinese side is moving already", adding that he will speak to Amhari about Khaldoon.

There were also conversations between Najib and Amhari, following a failed arrangement to meet Khaldoon in Jakarta, Indonesia, to resolve the tussle between 1MDB and IPIC, which later escalated into an international arbitration.

After the recordings were played, MACC chief commissioner Latheefa said: "Based on our understanding there are signs of abuse of power, obstruction of justice, and fabrication of false evidence based on the recording."

Latheefa said the recording will be given to the relevant authorities while it continues with its part of the investigation.

She refused to comment on whether the authorities will seek to work with the UAE to clear the air on the matter, if the files will be tendered as new evidence in the ongoing trials, or if they will file new charges against the people involved in the recording.

Nintendo Switch Pro - kambing this year?

With all the rumors(or non rumors) of the Nintendo Switch Pro with upgraded hardware and 4k capability. What do you think of it?

Another interesting bit is that Nvidia seems to have given up the mobile chipset business....i don't see anything from Nvidia mobile that is capable of 4K right now...
So does this means Nintendo will be forced to move to another SOC or other platform? If this is the case, the biggest problem will be backward compatibility with existing Switch. How will this be achieved?

Here is my prediction:
Option A:
1. The "new" Switch will be a dock (much like the launch rumors). Maybe it will have a Nvidia desktop based GPU? But i doubt it will help since the X1 in switch is ARM....or maybe they move to AMD's APU?

2. There is no handheld in the Switch Pro. It is for existing Switch owners to dock their Switch into.

3. Performance maybe will be same level as a PS4 Pro. No way it will be on the level of PS5 or Xbox 720, 1080,whatever.

4. It will run emulation for existing Switch game.

5. Price: USD 299

Of course, there could be other options like this, but i think it is not so likely.
Option B:
1. A totally new Switch with a customized Nvidia Xavier chip (Xavier chip is designed more for other purposes like automobiles). And it can only have 1.4TFlop, still way lower than the competition.

So what do you think?
