How fast to drive on wet road?

How do we know what is the right speed to drive in wet condition? I'm more interested in driving conditions on north south highway.

1. if drizzling, road seems dry
2. if rain, road is wet, can hear the "wet" sound when driving, but no obvious splash
3. if heavy rain, road is very wet, water gather and splash when driving over

Understand that different tyre, diff car have different limit, just wanna know how to tell or gauge the right balance? I've seem videos of cars losing control in all kinda speed. So i'm curious.

What would be the best way to sell your car for more money?

I believe that mods to the car will not be factor into the selling price? example, i have things like tweeter, active subwoofer, dashcam, floor mat, sun shade, all these I can probably sell cheaply for 2-3k. Should I request they sell the car as it is, with all item included? or better for me to remove these items and sell them separately?

Also would going to 2nd hand dealer fetch better price than carsome and tukar?

PPF coating VS repaint

Hi all, need advise regarding PPF coating vs repainting. Suppose need to travel north south highway several time per month. Chipping damage to car front is unavoidable.

is it better to spend like 10k for PPF, or just tank the damage and repaint once every few years? which would be more cost effective? what’s the market rate for repainting and restoring the chip damage?

It's a common term we hear from everybody, but what exactly is good ride and handling? What contribute to R&H? When driving a car, how do you know it's R&H is good? What to look out for in car's specifications that might give a promising R&H? How much will R&H affect your car buying decision? What's a good example of common car that are good / bad in R&H?

Is proton R&H good? I keep hearing car review mentioning the proton's R&H bla bla bla...

Is it worth to buy used camry hybrid?

As per title, saw 2015-2017 ish camry hybrid selling for about 80k range, is it worth to buy?

Considerations:
- I need to drive up and down KL -> JB once every week, assuming mileage 1k km per week
- Best to have a stable and comfy ride on the highway
- Should be reliable, toyota should be reliable? just not sure about hybrid car in general
- Most importantly, if possible to save on petrol, since mileage is quite high

Will appreciate if in your reply you can let me know if you have first hand exp, aka, owner of camry hybrid, or you just hear say from friends.

Just wondering, why is universal wall socket still not as popular in Malaysia? Now that we are more likely to source for electronics from china, most come with china plugs. Does it make sense to install universal wall socket to replace our standard UK socket?

Price aside, is there anything i should take note of? I notice on shopee and lazada, not a lot of choice for universal socket, mostly is from unheard brands.

Need advise: keeping house cool and ventilated

Please share your tips and tricks to cool / ventilate the house.

Main objective i want to explore for new house:
#1 Passively reduce indoor temperature of the house. Cooler house = saving money on Aircon
#2 Avoid opening door / windows - This might sound like contradicting to asking for tips to ventilate the house. But I wanna explore what are the options to ensure fresh air and ventilation in a closed environment vs the easiest, cheapest way of just opening windows and let the air in. Reason for wanting a closed environment is that on a ideal scenario, I can purify the air and ensure the whole house breath in good quality clean air. In between these 2 options, i want to find the most practical and cost effective way.

For ventilation:
- How effective is the roof ventilation? you know those small spinning mushroom on the roof, does it work? how much typically with installation? recommended?
- Anybody have experience with smartmi fresh air system? (link here) - Wondering why is this kinda solution not popular in Malaysia? What i like is it will pump in fresh air from outside, and filter it, but is it good for all year hot climate like malaysia? Will I end up pumping hot air into the house?
- How about ERV? Example like Aireguard ERV (Link here), how practical is it to install in malaysia house? cost wise anybody have experience how much including installation?

For cooling:
- Tinting of windows and glassdoor -> helpful? what to look out for?
- Is plant helpful?

What other cooling / ventilating tips you can share?
