HI Guys,

I bought a China made dolly stand. It lifted the bike (800mt) ok but when i tried to move it, the stand collapsed on 1 side. Luckily not all the way through else big time Jatuh Bodoh!

Now I am on the lookout for another one tat is more sturdier.

Appreciate if anyone that is using can share a recommendation for a 360 movement type of dolly stand (meaning the stand is fitted with rollers and can move around

Planning to purchase a 800cc mid size adventurer for long distance touring (Thailand, Singapore... maybe further).

Eyeing the following

1. CFMoto 800MT
2. QJMoto SRT800
3. Suzuki VStrom 800 DE
4. BMW 800GS (used)
5. Tiger 800 XC

Considering value, ride comfort, local maintenance, support and realibiliity, in which order should i be look at

Some comments on your opinion will be very helpful as well.

Could anyone recommend are any good reasonably priced rain pants?

I have a rain coat but the pants that comes with it sprung a leak or something. I get wet at the bottom all the time.

In the midst of searching to upgrade to a larger mid size adventure naked bike next year, I came across many traveller's post on the GS series.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience or could share the upkeep of the bike if I were to purchase it used.

What should I look out for? What are the common issues and wear tear components that is needed to be changed.

Is this a wise choice to purchase used?

Compression Headache caused by Helmet

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know where I can change or customize my helmet foam?

I have a GIVI X16 and it is fine for short trips. For longer ones, the compression pain comes in after an hour.
And it really hurts until I have to stop, remove the helmet and let it settle down.

I really should get another helmet but kinda got use to this one and trying to save a bit of $

FZ150i v2 2014 engine cut off when pressing clutch

Dear otai FZ,

I am getting a very strange behavior out of the bike recently.

3 scenarios and I purposely repeated it many times and it happens without fail

1st scenario
a. Going downhill. Engine braking at 4th gear. No throttle/gas.
b. 20 seconds downhill, sharp turn left.
c. Engage clutch before the turn and down shift to gear 2.
d. Engine cut off when downshifting during the cornering
e. Engine can be restarted

2nd scenario
a. At the traffic lights, downshift to 1st Gear.
b. Clutch engage.
c. Engine dies off by it own or when I shift to 1 gear in preparation for the green light.

3rd scenario
a. Parked and go makan
b. Start engine in Neutral
c. Engine dies after a while.

I have changed
1. Fuel Filteher
2. Clean Throttlebody
3. New spark plug
4. New rectifier

Voltage reading is ~13.5

Any ideas on what is happening or what else to check?

Engine is smooth. Bike is OK. This is driving me nuts!

Starting on my journey to superbike kingdom.
Old uncle here, in it for adventure touring.

Manage to secure a 2014 FZ150i recently for training purposes. Never use a clutch bike before.
Am trying to purchase a set of crash bar.

I tried my hand in Shoppee, I think there is no universal ones. The vendors came back asking this and that. I did not understand what they one.

Anyone can help?
Is there a shop I can go to.
