PC freezes at the slightest vibration

Hi,

Recently my PC freezes pretty frequently at the slightest vibration (e.g. putting down a bottle on the table, a slight bump/knock on the table). It started to happen like 2 weeks ago and I'm not sure what is the problem.

Things I've tried to troubleshoot:

1. Dissemble, clean out the dust, and reassemble the entire PC to ensure everything is tightly connected
2. Changed SSD from SX8200 Pro 256GB to Crucial MX500 500GB (changed my SSD cause I didn't need the NVMe speed, not because I suspected SSD was the problem. Thought it'd be good if I mention it too)

I tried searching online for solutions but none of them gave a very clear answer of what might be the cause. Someone said he had the same problem and it was the motherboard that was faulty. After changing to a new motherboard, the problem solved. Could it be the motherboard?

Black dots on GPU gold pins

Hi all,

I was removing my system for some cleaning and upgrades and I happen to find out that my gpu pins have some black dots on it. Age of GPU is roughly 2 years+ and only used for daily gaming and browsing.

What exactly are those black dots? Is it a sign that my gpu is dying soon?

I’ve searched online and some said to use an eraser to rub it off. Should I give it a try?

Hi sifus, I am currently hunting for a 2nd hand AM4 mobo. Came across Gigabyte AX370 Gaming 5 and MSI x470 Gaming Pro Carbon for both priced roughly the same, around RM350.

Question is, which is a better board and which should I go for? Planning to use on my Ryzen 5 1600.
