Hello everyone,

I'm what u call a basic car driver. Not really a mod freak, tho I was interested to mod my car but not financially capable. but that's not why I'm posting here.

As stated in the title, I am using a Proton Wira 1.5L Auto Transmission car, fuel injection engine I think. The car was bought 2nd hand in 2oo5 but is a 2000 make.

the engine of the car itself, leaked engine oil when I used 10D/24W engine oil, but solved after changing to 15D/24W. The engine is strong, as I don't exactly speed beyond 120km/h and the max I've gone is 130km/h with this car.

My problem with the car is the other stuff. I just changed the suspensions recently at the advise of a foreman, who said that the suspensions are hardening. so I changed them to brand new wira suspensions. even after changing them, the suspensions still squeek but of coz the big "thump" from going over bumps have reduced. like all proton auto windows, mine get stuck.
my seats are squeeking, and I think my glove compartment gives out this rattling sound when I sweat I do not see anything loose.

Recently I was faced with a problem where I could not start the engine. Readjusted the gear lock (AT gear lock so that the car won't start when gear engaged) becoz suspected the lock was not properly placed. Then as the problem still occured, I set in a starter relay. Still same problem. finally discovered that the Fuel pump was the faulty one. Now my car can start but I have to turn my key longer to start my car compared to previous. I'm constantly worried that again my car doesn't start.

so here's my query. is there anything I can do to the car that can make it be almost like a brand new feel or is this it? its an old car so I have to expect it?
I know its demanding of me. but financially I can't afford to keep having to fix this car.
