Hi,

My new company hired a third party to do employment checks.

I know they check for disciplinary,criminal and employabiliti checks but do the third party call up your current company HR?

In the consent form they said they will call the current company HR?

what info will they ask?

Anyone from HR knows about what info is usually requested

Will they ask for the last pay, or the title in the company?
or just ask if he is still employed there?

What if you have the relevant experience but the second time you sent the cv there is a small change in the cv as you removed a company that was worked only for a few months. Will that be compared will they have a record of all the cv u have submitted previously.

What is the difference between a contract job and a bonded job.

For example a bonded job if you resign have to pay penalty, is it the same with the contract job? Can you resign while under contract?

I submitted a resume previously through jobstreet but there is a short stint that i included.

How long after can i reapply to the same company with a different resume without the short stint or will the company that i applied for always remember my first CV submission and notice the changes.

Also how will this affect my application

Hi, my friend recently rejected an offer but recently changed his mine and accepted the offer a week after rejecting it. He has informed his acceptance to the HR. what are the outcomes in this type of situation as he has rejected the offer in writing to the HR a week ago.

Just posting this as an advice,any singapore company that tries to bond you beware if your performance is not up to expectation you will be also kicked out. The bond only prevent one party from leaving which is the employee. And if you breach the bond the consequences might be 3 month salary in sgd. Especially certain accounting firms are practicing this. If you are chinese will be easier to get another job.

So I dating this girl, she is okay with me and wants me to improve in life. Then the family say I'm not rich enough to marry the daughter so looking for guys in arrange marriage. The father oil n gas engineer. So she told me if the parents found a guy who is well to do n she gt chemistry with him, she will leave me.

Applying job in less than a year

Applying for new jobs in less than a year, working at the current place what are your advice, wait it out or try my luck, one comp saw my cv called me for interview n then said i jump too soon, wasting my time.
I'm just not happy with my salary n benefits at the current comp and dun see why i should wait a year.
