The console has some issues in reading the disc due to the part has worn and torn. The lense itself is perfectly fine, it's just the part to load the disc sometimes failed to place the disc at the exact place.
This is a known issue for PS3 and there is a workaround for it. By tilting the console while inserting the disc, it will read the disc just fine.

Company Force To Work on Sick Leave

my wife is on sick leave and certainly not fit to go to work but her manager forced her to go to work because nobody is there to do the work.

Salary Got Hold After Resigned

I have resigned and served a short notice and need to pay for a certain amount due to the short notice served.
However, I've asked them to deduct the amount from my salary (since it's just half of my salary) way before the company's cut-off date.
I've also reminded them not to hold my salary.

But yesterday when I checked, my salary was not credited to my account.
Checked with my ex-colleague, they confirmed that they have received their salary (company will pay before 28th every month).

Decided to check with the HR, emailed them (since they did not have any phone number - not sure why) and they said my salary got hold because of the short notice.
I will get my salary on the 2nd week of March. I was like

I have my own commitment to settle and if I will only get my salary by 2nd week of March, everything will be overdue and my credit record will be bad as well.
So, is there anything that I can do? I've replied their email and ask to release my salary before March 7th and told them I will lodge a report should I have not received my salary by then.

Hmmm.. Sooo angry right now

Citibank Online Transaction History

Hi,

A bit of history why I said that:

03/12/2011: I've swiped my Citi credit card but no receipt came out. However, the payment actually went through. The shop then has refunded back the money back to my credit card and it does reflected in Citibank Online Transaction History (refunded on 7th or 8th Dec).
07/12/2011 or 08/12/2011: Refunds have been updated in Citibank Online Transaction History
10/12/2011: After confirmed in the Transaction History, I've went to the shop again to swipe back the amount.
01/01/2012: Suddenly my credit card balance has increased significantly. When I checked again, the refunded amounts was gone and the refund details was gone from the Transaction History.

Called Citibank to complains, spoke with their manager to retrieve the history of my transaction details but they were unable to trace the refund details at all.
They asked to liaise with the shop to refund again, but the shop said that the transaction was successful and they did not charge me for the transaction on 03/12/2011.
Called back Citibank, they asked to liaise with the shop to get their statement details.
Called the shop, but they asked for my statement instead and they said they will liaise directly with Citibank.
Called Citibank again today, they said still no updates, hence suggesting to claim for Dispute which will take around 60 days for them to investigate before they could credit back the credit to my account.

Above were just the summary, but there were so many called that I've made to both parties in between that.
I don't know if the shop is lying (but the shop is a reputable shop and have quite a number of branch) or it's Citibank's fault.
I don't care about that, but what I know is their system is lousy. The transaction history details - first you see it, then you don't - is not to be trusted.

That is so wrong and I'll never trust their online transaction history anymore.
Remember guys, please take a screenshot of the transaction history if you guys encounter the same case; just to save from the hassle that I'm going through right now.

If only I save a screenshot of the refund.. hmm

Hi,

For those who are under contract with Manpower, just wondering if you have ever experienced resigned less than 2 months notice? I'm thinking of resigning due to better offer, but the new employer requires me to start on 1st Feb which will be less than 2 months.

Will Manpower, by any chance, will release me early or do I still need to pay for the compensation? The contract stated clearly need to provide 2 months notice, else need to pay for the compensation.

Windscreen replacement

I'm using Gen2 n my windscreen is crack.. So, i went to Proton Service Center, the charges for windscreen replacement is RM550.. I checked with other normal shop, it only will cost me RM330.

Is it ok to use the cheaper 1 or it's advisable to get replacement at proton service center? How about the tinted? Can i reinstall back taken from my cracked windscreen or need to install new 1?
