Pendakwaan dikendalikan Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Ahmad Hazim Aqifullah Mohd Amran.

Tertuduh dibebaskan selepas membayar wang jaminan."

Malaysia badminton top fan kecewa

enterthefatdragon — Thu, 01 Oct 2026 15:15:48 +0800

QUOTE

Hi everyone, to all my followers ❤️

After the Asian Games 2026, I want to share something honestly and respectfully from my heart.

For many years, I’ve travelled from country to country, using my own time, money and energy to support Malaysian badminton players. 🇲🇾🔥

I never asked BAM for financial support.
I never expected special treatment.
I never asked anyone to sponsor my trips.

All I wanted was the opportunity to be there and cheer for our Malaysian players.

But I want to clarify one thing about the ticket situation, because I don’t want anyone to misunderstand me.

I was trying to get a ticket through the Malaysian side, as a Malaysian fan who wanted to sit there and support our players.

Unfortunately, I was unable to secure a ticket through our Malaysian side.

In the end, I had to find another way myself — and I managed to get my ticket through the Singapore team.

Yes, I was grateful that I could still get into the venue and support badminton.

But honestly, as a Malaysian fan, it was also quite painful and disappointing. 😓

I understand that there may be limited tickets, complicated arrangements and many things happening behind the scenes that fans may not know about.

So I’m not saying BAM intentionally ignored me, and I’m not asking for special treatment.

What I’m saying is simply this:

After all these years of travelling, spending my own money, taking my own time and doing everything I can to support Malaysian badminton, I hoped there would be a clearer way for passionate Malaysian supporters like me to get access to tickets.

I never asked for a free ticket.

I just wanted a fair opportunity to buy one and be there for our players.

Fans don’t always ask for much.

Sometimes, we just want to feel that our support is seen and appreciated. ❤️

This experience has also taught me something.

Maybe I need to build more connections and plan better for myself for future tournaments.

But it also made me ask myself…

Should AhJo continue giving everything to Malaysia? 🇲🇾

Or should I open my support to any country that welcomes someone crazy enough to travel, spend his own money and cheer with all his heart?

I’m still Malaysian.
I’m still proud of our players.
And I still love badminton.

But this time, I’m genuinely hurt. 💔

BAM, if you happen to see this, please understand that this is not an attack.

This is simply feedback from a passionate Malaysian fan who has spent years supporting our players.

I hope in the future there can be clearer communication about ticket availability and a better system for dedicated supporters who travel to major tournaments.

Because when our Malaysian players walk onto that court…

I want to be there.
I want to cheer.
I want them to hear “Malaysia Boleh!” 🇲🇾🔥

I never asked for anything all these years.

I only wanted to support our players. ❤️🇲🇾🏸

LCW warned National players

enterthefatdragon — Thu, 27 Aug 2026 08:43:06 +0800

QUOTE

#NSTsports The BA of Malaysia (BAM) has warned that it will not bow to any pressure or threats from players.

BAM Performance Committee chairman Datuk Seri Lee Chong Wei said players should not forget the contribution of the governing body, which has shaped them from the early stages of their careers by providing training, facilities and a development environment before they emerged as big names in world badminton.

Lee Chong Wei believes Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik have a good game plan, but pointed out that Aaron still has to do a lot of the covering for Wooi Yik during matches.

“Their game plan is definitely good, but Aaron always has to ‘cover’ Wooi Yik. You can see this from the way they play.”

Lee also specifically highlighted Wooi Yik’s recent dip in form, while the coaching team reportedly believes the pair’s chances of winning gold at the Asian Games are not particularly high.

“Regarding their performance at the World Championships, yes, they played very well. But the World Championships are held every year. The Asian Games only come once every four years.”

“They have been together for a long time and have won the World Championships, but they have never won a Super 1000 title. They also often lose to opponents they should be able to beat.”

Lee added that he had already noticed the pressure on Wooi Yik when facing India’s ‘twin towers’.

“When I saw him playing against the Indian pair, I told Rexy that if Wooi Yik doesn’t improve his strength, he will have problems. You could see the pressure he faced against the Indonesian pair at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.”

With the Asian Games coming up, can Aaron-Soh silence the doubts and prove themselves once again on the big stage?
