How to Use the Office App for Windows

The Office app provides users with a simple experience that helps them get to what they need quickly – whether that’s an app, a document, or even a person in your organization. We released the app as a preview to Windows Insiders in December 2018 and have heard lots of great feedback from people who have found it to be a helpful way to get started with Office. We are thrilled to now make it available for free to anyone using a current version of Windows 10, whether at work, at school, or at home.

You can use the Office app with almost any version of Office – even the free version of Office Online. The experience will look familiar to anyone who has used Office.com with users finding quick access to all their Office apps and documents. However, we’ve made the experience even better by bringing it to an app form. Now you can get to the Office desktop apps if installed on your device in addition to the web apps on Office Online, access files stored on your local device in addition to OneDrive and SharePoint, and use it while working offline.

How to Download the New Office App
If you already had the My Office app installed on your Windows 10 devices, then you only need to update it from the Microsoft Store to get the latest version of the app. If you never had the Office app, then you can follow a few simple steps to get it installed.

Launch the Microsoft Store app.
Microsoft Store
Search for "Office."

Office
Locate the Office app and select Install.

Install
Once you the app installs, select Launch to start using the new Office app.

Launch
Office App vs. My Office
Before jumping into details on how to use the new Office app, it is important to understand the similarities of the previous My Office app and the new Office app.

SIMILARITIES BETWEEN THE OFFICE APP AND MY OFFICE APP
They're available to download for free in the Microsoft Store.
They grant you an overview of your Office 365 account, as well as access to your subscriptions, payments, and billing information.
They have Quick links to your documents.
They have a section for Programs so you can launch any of the office apps.

The new app will roll out to people over the next few weeks and then automatically install as an update to the old My Office app, But beware, as an installation glitch is currently affecting some users. Even though the store page points to the new app, downloading the app installs the old My Office version rather than the new version.
As usual, the glitch seems to vary by machine. I was able to install the new version on one of my Windows 10 computers. But the old version keeps getting installed on two of my other computers. Other people who commented in Microsoft's blog post have reported a similar problem. A Microsoft spokesperson said the company is aware of the bug and is working to resolve it.

Useful links...
https://www.wps.com/download/
https://www.officesuitenow.com/hi/download/
http://www.openoffice.org/
https://www.libreoffice.org/
https://www.zoho.com/office/
https://www.idealware.org/microsoft-office-...vs-libreoffice/
https://download.zone/andropen-office-download/
https://www.ssuiteoffice.com/

More Related topics
libre office vs openoffice
Top 7 office sotware for pc
alternatives of wps office
download microsoft office
best document creation
best office app for android
microsoft excel
microsoft word features
presentation app

Best Music editing sofware

If you’re here reading this, chances are you’re trying to get into audio editing. Whether it’s for a video team, a hopeful future in the movie industry as the next Hans Zimmer, a career in music production and editing, or just for creating some sick ringtones for your phone, an audio editing software is going to be at the very heart of your setup; and that’s where the problem really lies — choosing a good audio editing software, or a DAW can be quite a daunting task, what with the variety of software available out there. Some are free, some bring in additional features, some are specific to a particular operating system and whatnot. So, in order to help you figure out where you should invest your time and money, we’ve dredged through the various audio editing software to find the best ones, the crème de la crème if you will. So, here are 10 best audio editing software you can check out.

Adobe Audition CC: Adobe Audition CC is a powerhouse audio editor that continues to push industry standards forward, with a pricing model to match. The app is updated every year with new features and expanded compatibility with the latest versions of macOS and Windows. There are a bunch of plug-ins, and Adobe even has its very own series of tutorials surrounding Audition, which should definitely make it much easier for you to get started with the app. Along with all of that, the app has a really well thought out interface and manages to look inviting even with all of the features it packs once you scratch the surface. Plus, it supports most of the audio formats out there like MP3, WAV, AC-3, AIF, AIFF, AIFC, AAC, HE-AAC, CAF, FLAC, PCM, OGG, WMA and more, along with support for video formats like AVI, MP4, MOV, FLV, etc.

Logic Pro X: Logic Pro X, which is Apple’s DAW for systems running macOS would’ve been my choice for the best audio editing software, but since it’s only available on macOS, it brings its accessibility down by quite a bit (not every artist uses a Mac, after all). That said, Logic Pro X brings some incredibly awesome features into the fold that make it an amazing audio editing app for both beginning editors, and professional users. Logic Pro X comes with all the basic features you’ll ever need in an audio editor, and also brings extremely advanced features including the ability to automatically match the timing of different tracks in a project using ‘Smart Tempo.’

ocenaudio: ocenaudio is a free single-track editor for making destructive edits to audio files. It's a capable all-arounder with a clean and minimal interface that sets it apart from the comparatively cluttered Audacity. Add markers to your files, make edits to specific channels, and manipulate the metadata before exporting your recording. In addition to the basic trimming and clipboard operations, ocenaudio also includes a number of effects and support for VST plugins (and AU plugins on a Mac). These include simple noise reduction operations, filters, a 31-band equalizer, plus time and pitch adjustment.

Reaper: Reaper is yet another audio editing software that’s incredibly powerful and feature-rich while also being comparatively more affordable than some of the other options on this list. For starters, Reaper comes with support for multiple tracks and has remarkable multichannel support with 64 channels in each track. It also brings the ability to directly record audio to mono, stereo, or even multichannel audio files, along with the ability to record to multiple disks at the same time for data redundancy if that’s something you want.

Useful links...

https://wavepad.en.softonic.com/
https://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/index.html
https://music-editor-free.en.uptodown.com/windows
https://download.zone/reaper-software-free-download/
https://en.softonic.com/downloads/music-editing
https://music-editing-master.en.softonic.com/

Related topic...

Most popular music editors
audio editing software
free editors for audiofree editors for audio
Best music making software for pc
audio editors
raper alternatives

Top 5 Music Player Apps for Ubuntu

1. Rhythmbox: Rhythmbox is the default music player in Ubuntu, and as such merits a place in this list. Widely used, Rhythmbox is a reliable, dependable, and extensible GTK music player that uses the Gstreamer backend. The standard layout of the app is straightforward to navigate, and it’s easy to filter through your music using the column browser or the search box. The app lets you do more than just play, manage and sort music and create playlists. It can scrobble to Last.fm, and it has built-in support for podcasts and internet radio stations. The player also boasts integration with online music service SoundCloud. Rhythmbox is a free and open-source audio player that plays and helps organize digital audio files. Rhythmbox is designed to work well under the GNOME desktop using the GStreamer media framework, however, it can function on desktop environments other than GNOME.

2. CMUS: This music player will appeal to every Linux user who loves CLI(Command Line Interface). CMUS is a music player that is based on command line interface & is undoubtedly the best CLI music player out there. & since it uses CLI, it is very light in memory use (around 4-6 mb in our case) & makes a good choice for Low-end systems. It is pretty simple to use & you can control it via commands entered through the keyboard. It supports all the audio formats you can throw at it & also boasts a series of good features like play queue, gapless music, playlists filter & also supports music streaming. Install CMUS using the command.
cmus is a small and fast console audio player for Unix-like operating systems. cmus is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License and operates exclusively through a text-based user interface, built with ncurses.

3. DeaDBeeF: DeaDBeeF is billed as the music player app, and it goes a fair way to matching the claim. It’s generally talked of in terms of being a Linux version of the popular freeware Windows app Foobar2000, but a) DeaDBeeF (finicky capitalization aside) more than stands on its own. It is very much a music player though. It eschews the overblown feature sets you’ll see in other apps and instead favors a stripped-back focus on just playing music. The app also ships without any major dependencies on GNOME or KDE and doesn’t use a common media backend like GStreamer. DeaDBeeF is an audio player software available for GNU+Linux, Android and other Unix-like operating systems. DeaDBeeF is free and open source software, except on Android.

4. Audacious: Audacious is a free and open-source music player which focuses on high audio quality with the use of minimum resources. Best thing about this audio player is that it works perfectly well on PCs with low specifications. It supports all the major audio formats. Audacious has a very simple user interface with everything placed perfectly for easier navigation. You can also customize themes and appearance in an Audacious music player. All the necessary controls in this MP3 player for pc are stacked at the top that can be used to add music files to the playlist, skip the song, pause it, or shuffle and repeat it. Audacious is a free and open-source audio player software with a focus on low resource use, high audio quality, and support for a wide range of audio formats. It is designed primarily for use on POSIX-compatible systems such as Linux, with limited support for Microsoft Windows.

5. Spotify: Spotify Naturally, as one of the biggest music streaming services in the world (and one which I know a great many of you use daily) we couldn’t not give a spot to Spotify. A little known fact is that, while yes it’s a big a memory hungry, is Spotify can also play your local media files. It’s not the most perfect feature as — big, big warning so please take notice it can totally screw up your track metadata without so much as a prompt or a whistle. But, even for free account users, you get access to a much bigger array of music than that you (likely) have locally. Plus the Linux app is decent enough, integrates well into the Ubuntu desktop (yep, sound menu support is present) and so on. Spotify Technology S.A. is a Swedish media-services provider founded in 2006. The company's primary business is its audio streaming platform that provides DRM-protected music and podcasts from record labels and media companies.

Related links...

https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2017/01/best-mu...ps-ubuntu-linux
https://www.linuxtechi.com/top-8-music-play...ntu-linux-mint/
https://www.ubuntupit.com/best-15-linux-mus...he-music-lover/
https://download.zone/spotify-free-download/
https://www.clementine-player.org/downloads
https://www.tecmint.com/install-rhythmbox-m...ayer-on-ubuntu/
https://websiteforstudents.com/install-goog...-18-04-desktop/
http://www.linuxandubuntu.com/home/best-li...am-online-music
https://audacious-media-player.org/
http://deadbeef.sourceforge.net/
https://cmus.github.io/

More related topics...

Best music player for Ubuntu
7 Awesome New Music Players For Linux
Music player for pc
Music player for ubuntu
Rhythmbox installation
music player app
Music Player Apps for Ubuntu
CMUS alternatives
Spotify vs soundcloud

Best Music Making Software

Title: Best Music Making Software

1.Apple GarageBand: When it comes to beginner-friendly digital music production, GarageBand is very much your number one option. It’s completely free, easily found on App Store, and it teaches even beginning musicians how to use some powerful tools. GarageBand also happens to be one of the easiest platforms to create great sounding music. It allows you to create a song with over 200 tracks and even has an option of adding a virtual session drummer.
2.ACID Pro 365: ACID Pro is a veteran when it comes to music production software, and the first version of this software was released 20 years ago.The new version offers new and sleek user interface as well as a powerful 64-bit engine. In addition, there’s support for 24-bit, 192kHz multitrack recording. Speaking of projects, the application has 16 available instruments and 13 effects available to choose from. You can easily modify the pitch, length and other settings of each loop in order to achieve the perfect results.
3.Ableton Live: You have all the regular and standard multi-track recording and cut/paste/splice features, but what’s brilliant about this software is the flawless MIDI sequencing software and hardware. And then there are the sound packages that are included. It all depends on individual taste but it has 23 sound packages and you can make music then and there if you want to. The absolutely best part about Ableton however, is that is also the best music production software for performing live with very few glitches if at all any occurring.

4.LMMS: LMMS (which used to stand for Linux MultiMedia Studio) is cross-platform music production software, available on both Mac and PC as well as Linux. It’s suitable for all levels of music producers and is a good fit for a beginner.
