How Credit Card Payment Date work?

Hi, my credit card mentioned that the "Statement Date" is every 15th of the month.

I wanted to spend for whole month, then pay all of them at the end of the month. Will this "Statement Date" hinder me to do so?

The spend and pay behavior I wanted is 1st of March start spending, then at 31 March night 10pm pay all the things that I have spent from 1st March to 31 March. So because my "Statement Date" is 15th march, so i cant do that anymore?

Any input is appreciate! please share with your experience! Thanks.

ASNB Auto Labur

Hi, have anyone try this ASBN Auto Labur?

as I know this seem like a subscription that allow your Debit Card/Saving Account to auto transfer an amount of money (set by you) to your ASB Account every specific date (set by you).

I know that each time you do registration, update or unsubscribe, u will be charged RM1 but that will later return to your ASB Account, but how about this case:

- I registered ASNB Auto Labur to allow my debit card to transfer RM30 every 2nd day of the month, so will I get extra charge with RM1 every 2nd day of the month? or ASB will not charge anything to my debit card or ASB account, will auto transfer the exact amount of RM30 to my ASB account?

anyone who have the experience, please share with me thanks a lot!

Apply Credit Card in Bank Branch?

Hi, I would like to go apply my 1st Credit Card in Public Bank Kelana Jaya Branch, wanna ask how will be the process like? will it pretty straightforward?

my main concern is that will Public Bank Kelana Jaya branch provide scan and printing service for the Credit Card registration? like scan NRIC and print out those supporting document like EPF statement.

anyone have experience? please share with me! thank you

RINGGITPLUS Credit Card Registration?!

Anyone have register Credit Card using RinggitPlus website? https://ringgitplus.com/en/credit-card/

As I know the registration will using whatapps chat, however I got some uncertainty with it:

1. If I enter all information they need in the whatapps, in the end do I still need to go to bank to submit Hardcopy documents such as Payslip, etc for the application or I can just attach softcopy document into the whatapps chat and RinggitPlus will work on everything?

2. So, basically after I enter all information in the whatapps, RinggitPlus basically will auto register for the Credit Card? It will not ask for any confirmation again like using SMS or Email to send us the Registration Details and ask for confirmation before proceed further?

I not really sure how it work so if anyone have experience please share with me! any info is appreciated! Thanks!

Credit Card 100% Free?

Hi, I am new to credit card and I haven't own any credit card yet, recently I been doing research to getting started and see which credit card may benefit me the best.

From what I know, even though there are many credit card is "ANNUAL FREE for LIFE", but every year 100% will get charged with Government SST/GST/etc TAX which is currently if not mistaken RM25.

So, it is like every Credit Card surely need to pay "charges" for it, there is no Credit Card that is 100% FREE and "Pay ONLY what you spent".

Maybe I could be wrong with statement above, so I hope you guys can help me with this based on your experience with Credit Card

Here some of my uncertainty, hope you guys who own Credit Card can help me with it:

1. I come across this Maybank Shopee Credit Card in imoney site, it said 0% on SST, it this true? Is there any Shopee Credit Card Owner can testify this?

2. I also heard that, most of the Credit Card Annual Tax Charges can be waive with the Loyalty Point, but in PRACTICAL, it is really achievable easily? or u need to keep spending with the Credit card like crazy for whole year then only have enough Loyalty point to waive the Annual Tax Charges?

3. Other than use Loyalty point to waive the Annual Tax Charges, is there any other way to waive it?

Monster Hunter Rise! in Nintendo Switch

hmmmmm... i am impressed that the graphical improve and open world without loading locale travel.

but the whole game become some kind of hack and slash fast pace game play personally still prefer the Classic style Monster Hunter and the best Monster Hunter Series for me is Monster Hunter World!

really impressed Monster Hunter have been keep on improving, just this time its not my cup of tea, what do you guys feel about it though? are you going to pre-order it?

Hi guys, I saw this news, about Poslaju is Temporary suspension of international mail, parcel & EMS beginning 3rd August 2020.

1. Does Malaysia Custom permit and won't confiscate Anime blu-ray disc that ship from US?
2. Will Malaysia Custom charge any additional tax for Anime blu-ray disc?

Actually I plan to purchase quite lot blu-ray disc box set (Age Rating: 16+) from RightStufAnime,

they all cost around USD 1215, so I just wonder if Malaysia Custom will allow them to be ship to Malaysia?

Hi, does anyone tried out EziPoz by PosLaju before?

Do you ever have use them to deliver Disc item such as Movie DVD, Audio CD, Movie Blu-Ray? Just trying to ensure Disc item are not Prohibited Item, I checked their page, the description is little bit confusing:

"Indecent printings, paintings, photographs, books, cards, lithographic, engravings, films, video tapes, laser discs, color slides, computer disc and any other media."

So can I assume, normal Movie DVD, Audio CD, Movie Blu-Ray is safe?

and do you guys ever ship big parcel item wth EziPoz? Does EziPoz actually having Maximum Size Parcel limitation?

I was thinking to do some blu-ray movie disc online purchase and ship them to Malaysia (details: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=4981015&hl=)

as I going to purchase around 13 blu-ray movie disc, I believe I going to deal with the Custom Clearance, actually I don't mind pay the Tax for whatever Handling Fee that required in order for me to ship my blu-ray movie disc to Malaysia,

however I just wonder is there anyway for me to "Resolve" the custom clearance in advance to have a 100% guarantee to receive my parcel and having a smooth shipment experience?

I heard a lot of time, people are dealing with "Custom Agent" when their item being hold by Custom, so is there any way I can hire Custom Agent in advance to do the tax/handling payment in advance?

Order Blu-ray Movie Disc(s) from US?

Hi all, recently I would like to order Blu-ray Movie Disc(s) from US online store, there are around 13 Blu-ray Movie Box Set I would like to order all of them and ship to Malaysia for My Personal Collection purpose (All of them sum up cost around USD $1200-1400 with shipping fee).

I heard there are some case, people are buying blu-ray disc and being hold by custom during clearance, and to release the blu-ray disc from custom require pay some Tax or Handling Charges.

Have anyone have experience with buying single blu-disc or buying blu-ray disc in bulk before? did you guy face the issue where your blu-ray disc being hold by custom and require you to pay more?

or anyone know how to avoid the issue mentioned above (maybe having middle-man company agent to help me to order it)? or any suggestion in buying blu-ray disc?

I just wanted to ensure when I order the 13 Blu-ray Movie Box Set, all of them would safety arrive to my place with any issue need to be bother.

I order Nintendo Switch Game (GAME ONLY, not the DEVICE CONSOLE) from Amazon Japan, it is a Limited Edition Box set, inside have the Nintendo Switch Game Card and some CD (Album Song CD), it is shipped by DHL,

I notice that the tracking status mentioned: Update customs clearance information

with additional details:

Further Detail:
Due to the nature of the goods, specific authorization is required from a regulatory authority other than Customs for further clearance

Next Step:
Further processing will occur as instructed by the regulatory authority.A DHL representative shall attempt to contact the importer or shipper if further details are required

So I email DHL and get an instant reply of:

Please be informed as per checking, shipment is Video Games therefore, the custom might requires SIRIM permit or any additional paperwork to clear this shipment.

The Shipment arrived today and our clearance team will contact or email to you for further process by tomorrow.

This is my first time purchase something from Amazon Japan, the status seem not confirmed yet, and I think possibly the outcome will be:
1. Nothing happen, Pass Custom and I get my parcel soon
2. Will need to be charge by Tax/Sirim/etc

What is the outcome you guys think will be? I think most probably (1) right? In my knowledge only Electronic Hardware Device such as earphone/laptop will need to be charge with Sirim stuff or Tax.

Have you guys have any experience buying Video Game/DVD/Game Card and ship from other Country to Malaysia or have any idea if my item will be charge by Sirim/Tax or not?

I kind of reluctant to apply any credit card, my mindset is there will be sure have some "fee" you need to pay even you didn't use your credit card for anything,

but I always hear people say Good Thing about Credit Card:
- 100% NO ANNUAL FEE (somewhat I believe)
- you didn't spend anything then no need pay anything (I doubt it)
- you spend rm10, then pay back rm10, nothing more. (I doubt it)

Is anyone here having Credit card? please let me know if Above statement are true, or correct the statement above so that I could really know how credit card work, if there is any Good Credit Card suggestion for me to apply do share here as well, thanks!
