Was looking at Surface Pro and stumble upon this seller by the name ssuperdeal.com.my selling Surface Pro 9 at noticeably lower price than other retails. RM4599 vs RM5759 (or RM5k+ lah normally). Both doesnt include the keyboard / pen

I see the same pattern for other tech products they sell too. Like the Surface Laptop Studio, Surface Pro 8, etc. Difference quite a lot like RM1000+ to RM2000+. RM5700 or so for a Surface Laptop Studio! I wonder what's the catch? Anyone have experience with this seller?

My assumption is that it's not the real price. They will just claim no stock and then upsell with the actual price.

If under 1k still okay, can consider donate if they end up not paying back (got one knncb richer ex coworker borrow rm500 but till now havent paid back). This one RM2500. I can trust him to pay back by monthly because I lent him before and he always pay back. I can afford the rm2500 but ayam sure want that much money back.

New Job Dilemma

Hello so I got a new job and have been here for about.. 3 weeks.
Been working in 3 different co. now, this is the 4th co.
wall of text but more of a rant

1- First co. is a big GLC MNC (for which I partially regretted for not taking up their offer to continue after internship as it was out of my field of study. The salary is okay, benefits are nice, work hours are balanced too. Basically win-win in almost all respect).

2-Second co. Big MNC but in construction field. Has lots of politics and toxic environment, work 6 days. Hellish, yeah. I'd say this was the most hellish work experience I had so far.

3-Third co. SME co. pay peanuts. AL also only 8 days for the first year, and basically observes the minimum required public holiday. benefits minimal or non-existant. Iirc even insurance or medical card was cut off later. Needless to say, it has fairly relaxing work pace. Very rigid work hours, but after work hours nobody will kacau anymore. After the first and second year, basically there is no more growth in that company. Good if you're already wanting to retire or settle down, but career growth will suffer lah, so I find new job after this.

4-Forth co. Current co, SME as well. Flexible hours, but before that I feel like a few red flags, but I decided to take anyway. Salary is good compared to previous. Red flags at first was - no company laptop or desktop provided (so this is going to be where "you take your work home with you, huh?" was my first initial reaction). Notice period is 3 month, for a basically just junior exec role. 'Flexible' hours seems bullshit so far, after hearing a coworker saying "and this you could do over the weekend". I suppose for the past 3 jobs, I could safely switch off my phone and my mind from work during weekends, but here not so. Guidance or onboarding seems... terrible. First week in, give briefing on current project, then decides to let me handle a few troublesome projects and refer back to me as if I already knew the projects all ins and outs. People kept talking about work on weekends or at night (or even weekend nights at 11:50pm!). I guess, the pacing of this new job came as a shock to me, like first week discussion on some project, and then expecting a result in 30 minutes or so. Or discussion on literally 6:30pm, and then next day first thing morning ask already about what was discussed yesterday (wtf do I have to do this work AT home at night ah?!). Or suddenly saying at 6:30pm friday on certain things need to be done, next week monday want to discuss with customer here there (aiyo! that means I have to do this shit on weekends lah like this! If it's just like 10mins-30 mins, fine lah. I thought it was a 5-15 mins task too, but then open document, this looks like a 2-4hour task! And I was only made known to this on-going project this week! You expect me to know every ins and outs of it AND do it over the weekend AND there is no time for reviewing because Monday morning already go meet client?!). Coworkers are good so far. But basically like no guidance or onboarding process lah. It's like coming first day and brief A to Z and then poof there you go you know everything from A to Z now while you're just wondering why the fuck is D and F repeated twice and there's also an upside down G in the middle for some reason.

Anyway basically only 3 weeks in... I wonder if I should wait for a bit longer or decide it's not a good fit. Previous company did counter-offered the same salary as my current one but rejected anyway to learn something new. Now I wonder if I am going to regret it. Financially not really an issue (I have a second income freelancing making as much as my previous job's salary). I'm thinking of just getting a slow-paced job and then just put in 250% effort on my freelancing while I'm still not married lel. Last month I made 5k from freelancing alone.

Addition:
Freelancing is in art industry basically. Digital artist. I've been thinking of probably making it a life-long career since I enjoyed it even with dealing with bullshit like clients or unreasonable demands. Thinking of expanding my skillset to animation (Live2D or spine animations), 3D artist/modelling and animations as well. I wonder if it's a good idea to make it a full-time job as I'd pretty much be wasting my engineering degree, and it's only going to be a few more years before I hit 30 where it'll be harder to get a professional, stable job later on.

MX Master 2S vs 3

Looking for a productivity mouse, but might be due to horizontal scroll. My current rapoo merapu mouse on its way to trash pile after 8 months lol. Constantly switching off even after changing new battery.
Occasionally game non-competitive, sometimes might find it handy for writing, excel, some animation software, and some 3D modelling or programming.

Found some MX2S for RM250+/-
And also some MX3 for around RM370+, useable with 10% cashback (so around 333)
around 85 linggit difference lah then, but the MX3 one is quite limited stock.

Wondering if wanna spend extra for MX3 which I guess the current advantages are:
1) New tech scrolling wheel
2) Bigger horizontal wheel
3) Much better side button placements
4) Slightly more vertical design (?)
5) Metal construction for some parts
6) Type C port

On one hand kinda interested with the magnetic scroll wheel tech.
Dunno lah if the RM85 is worth the 6 features listed above.
And then there's also the issue of scroll wheel on MX3 I read about on reddit, dunno if fixed already.
If not I'll just get an MX2S and the money saved I'll just buy a cheap bone conduction earphone for fun

Does anyone have experience with MX2S and/or MX3?
Do you find it worth spending the money on these? Let me know. Thanks

Wireless Keyboard Suggestion

As per topic.

Currently eyeing on either Logitech MK345, MK 545, or MK 850.

Main use: Mostly for day-to-day use. However there are some times where I'd be in a writing activity (proposals, reports, novel, coding, etc), and as for now I am capable of touch typing)
Budget: RM100-RM300. On the cheaper end, any would do as long as can type and no missed keys/double types. On the higher end, I'll be more picky on the quality.

MK345 found one deal at RM100 (+/-).
MK545 at around RM 220
MK850 at around RM 255
There's also MX Keys which is way out of my budget lol.

In terms of size and aesthetic I definitely prefer MX Keys or MK545, since both have clean rectangular looks while having a just nice size. Again, MX Keys are out of budget so it's now either 345, 545, or 850.

Reason for 345: cheap. but also looks like a cheapo keyboard. tbh, i'm either dont care about what keyboard to use as long it works if they're cheap. Mouse is pointless to have (current mouse is better)
Reason for taking 545 : aesthetic, plus multi device support. Fine with me, but the reason to double guess is because of the MK850 deal I found as well. Bundled mouse feature is about the same as my current mouse.
Reason for taking 850: M720 mouse trialathon is bundled in. gesture buttons on the mouse, which I think I'd like. only around RM35 different from the 545... Now the issue is though, I don't know if the keyboard is good. It has this 'ergo' curve at the middle which I dunno if it'll make typing pleasant or just hinders it . The size is also full-sized with non-detacheable palm-rest, so not quite portable. So I guess I'm only drawin into the mouse since 'its just some fewty ringgits away' and have some extra functions built in.

Anyone used MK850 before? How does it feel with its ergonomics design? Havent been able to test it out in person, but I'm gonna guess it might be a hindrance

If there is other wireless keyboard for suggestion, that'll be good also

Add: There's also MK235 and MK315. Right size and right price also. Mouse probably not gonna use. If anything else, might go with either one of this lah

Wrong Reply To Your Boss

Wahai ktard sekalian.

Ayam got something bugging ayam.
Lets say one day out of the blue boss ayam ask favor to come to site outside of working hour.
But ayam tersalah cakap, reply with some trivial reasons cannot come - basically alredi got something planned on dat day.
Shoulda reply with got nid to travel, but dat time ayam brain bodo for some stupid reason. Oso becos surrounding noise so loud almost kenot hear anything.
Ayam dun mind do it actualli, but ayam oso kinda have something to do.
Shud ayam be worry about ayam tersasul?
Shud ayam had just said "ayam wud think about it?"
Ayam not really required to do the thing, but it would be beneficial for ayam and the folks to do the thing, becos ayam oso can learn a lot of things.
Learn more things can put in CV for when to jump later.

Anyone got time where you tersasul wit your boss?
can help ayam alievate bit of #feelsbad.

Anyway, maybe if boss ask again ayam will say ayam will prepare some time to go. as long as not one whole day.
