How to quickly sell of condo unit?

With the current market condition, there are a lot of new unsold units.
How do I dispose off my old condo unit? I can't give out discounts and freebies like what developers do.
I've approached a few agents, many told me that unit can fetch good valuation price, however there is no market currently.

Any ideas for sharing?

Small outdoor water feature

Just want to find out if anyone know any shops that sell reasonable price water features.
Many people told me to look in Sg Buloh, but there are way too many lots there.. any specific shop to look for?

I plan to put it at my car porch (20x70 terrace house), so I don't need a big one. Prefer those with a rolling ball.

Shower screen leakage between door panel and floor

Dear all,

My house was pre-installed with a shower screen when I bought it. However, I noticed the gap between the glass door and the floor is quite big, resulted the water leakage every time after shower. Don't have a picture to show this, but I hope you guys understand what I'm trying to say.

Question: Anyone faced this issue before and how to resolve it?

Electric switch box

I have just gotten the key for my newly completed DSL house. My electrician suggested me to change my electric switch box, as he claimed the quality of the existing one will not last more than 3 years. He proposed to use Hager, and give me a quotation of Rm1.2k for around 30 pcs of NCB.

Just want to check whether there is really a need to change and is the quotation given reasonable?

Toilet leakage

Due to the improper water proofing done in my toilet, it has caused some leakage to the unit below of the condominium I'm staying.
I have received quotation ranging from RM1,100-1,300 to use some chemical injection at the unit below, giving warranty of half a year to one year.
May I know whether this price is reasonable? Any other good recommended contractors which can offer a better rate or service?

Baby refuses to drink milk

My baby is reaching one year old soon and he has been taking solid food since 6 mths old.
Usually he will drink 3 bottles of milk + 2 solid feeds per day . However, recently he refuses to drink his milk.
He will cry once he saw the milk bottle. We tried pouring the milk to a bowl and fed him using a spoon, but he refused to drink as well.
I guess it's not because of the milk bottle.

However, he loves to eat solid food. Apples, bread, biscuits, and anything that he can chew on.
Although he is eating, I'm afraid he is not getting enough nutrition from his daily intakes.
Please advice how I can make him start taking his milk again..

Setting up an accounting firm

I would like to find out if anyone here know what is the requirement to set up an accounting firm.

Do you need to be an accountant yourself to do so?

I've a friend who has an ACCA qualification, however he has never worked in an accounting firm before. He started his career in commercial line, and he has just obtained his membership as an ACCA member recently.

If he set up an accounting firm, can he signed and verified the accounts from his clients?

To all sifus here, i really hope someone can help me to solve my problem. i just reformat my computer, and everything seems normal except when i try to play the music part. Only then, i found out that my multimedia audio controller is not properly installed. It bears the following errors:

To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.

I've tried to reinstall the driver, however it could not be found. (I don't have the software driver with me, and i have tried searching it through the internet) Anyone here knows what can i do to solve this problem?

CFA vs CFP

I've just finished my ACCA exam and currently hold an affiliate status. I would like to venture into finance divison of the equity market. Can anyone here suggest which are the best route that i can take? Actually i'm oso in the midst of changing a job from accounts executive into equity market related job, however i dunno whether i need a CFA/CFP qualification to do so.

Can i get any exemption from my ACCA for my study in CFA/CFP? btw, which one is better.. can anyone explain the difference???? thank you so much....

Home loan

I wish to opt for hybrid home loan, whereby it is fixed for the 1st few years thereafter only use the floating rate. This can ensure that we know our own calculated risk and enjoy a lower rate later. The BLR life cycle is at its bottom now, so i assume it will increase soon, therefore i choose to use fixed rate 1st in order to avoid a higher interest rate. However, which bank offers the best rate?

I've searched using fiscal-wise before, however it did not show all the banks packages. Therefore, i would like to ask if anyone here knows any good packages that can recommend to me.

Anyone have any ideas about this condo? I am planning to buy a condo soon, and this place quite fit with my requirements... freehold, near to lrt, new condo, easy access to highway...

I just want to find out more about its surrounding and management office. Is it well maintain and well-kept.

To cut it short, I just want your all opinion whether i should buy this place for living in KL.

p/s: what is the market price now? can i get one below 200k?

To all the sifus out there, i've a "simple" questions and yet i do not know the answer. Maybe you guys/gals out there can help me out.

I'm renting a room in KL, however I do not have a telephone line at my house, do you guys have any ideas on how i can surf the internet without having to get a fixed line??? maybe wireless...??

If possible, do recomend something which cost less than RM100 per mth, i know maxis got offer something like this, but it costs more than Rm100++, too expensive, anyone know any cheaper means?

Finance industry-Earning salary more than 5k

I just read a thread on "Earning salary more than 5k", it is really a nice thread. However the job scopes discussed were too large and it involved lots of different industry groups. So, i was thinking of starting a new thread which specify on Finance industry only. This will allow those that are in this industry to learn more from our seniors...

I myself, also just finished my ACCA exam, and currently working in a commercial line as accounts executive for 1 1/2 years. However, my salary is less than 3k , and this is far off from our main target (i.e RM5k) After looking at so many "succesful" examples, it really give me an "omp" to change job.

Therefore, any suggestions on where i can go?? Actually i am thinking of moving into investment line, but i have no ideas on what i will be expecting. Maybe those that are earning more than 5k can tell us what is their route of success.
