Maxis Fiber- Asus RT AC5300-VPN-Xbox One

Ok so I have recently replaced my Netgear Nighthawk Gaming router with an Asus RT AC5300. I'm able to connect the TM modem that maxis gave me and removed the TP link router they originally set me up with, with my Asus RT AC5300 using PPPOE configuration. I can without using the VPN get my Xbox one to have an open nat. However I can not connect to US Call of Duty Black Ops 4 servers. So I have two different VPNS that I subscribe to, Nordvpn and Purevpn. As soon as I add the VPN details to my router and turn the Xbox on I immediately get double natted. At this point im lost, Ive followed several others ideas and suggestions with port forwarding and even setting my Xbox on the dmz list and nothing seems to work. The best I can get it to is a moderate double nat vs a strict double nat. Is there another way to use the vpn so I can get onto US servers and play my game without getting natted? I'm sure its something Ive overlooked but I can really use some help.

Netgear XR500 Router

I have a Netgear XR500 Nighthawk gaming router I brought with me when I moved here to KL a couple months ago. Ive been trying to set it up since getting here but with no luck. Ive had several people come and try and help me out. Today we found out that the reason why its not working is because its region locked to North America. What I need is a way to change the region. I'm assuming the easiest way would be to flash it with new firmware. However I can not seem to find any kind of Asian firmware on Netgears website. Does anyone have the same model as I do that would be willing to share the file for the current firmware version for Asia? Or is there any other option to get the region unlocked?

How to put maxis fibre AC1200 into bridgemode

I have my own gaming router Netgear Nighthawk XR500 that I want to solely use. However I have Maxis Fibre 800mb plan. When they finally came to do the install they setup a Huawei Echolife HG8240H GPON Terminal along with a Maxis TP Link AC1200 wireless dual band gigabit Voip router. I have no plans whatsoever to use the house phone number they game me at the same time of install. All I want to do is bypass all their stuff so I can use my gaming router as my main source for internet. The biggest problem I have is when playing xbox I get a dual nat error instead of nat open. Does anyone know how I can setup so I don't have to use maxis routers or at least put them into bridge mode. Here are some photos of the hardware they gave me.

https://pictr.com/images/2019/08/14/5rH4zQ.md.jpg
https://pictr.com/images/2019/08/14/5rHn05.md.jpg
https://pictr.com/images/2019/08/14/5rH8A1.md.jpg
https://pictr.com/images/2019/08/14/5rHVcV.md.jpg
