A lot of insiders' rumors indicate XSX is going to have a monstrous specs that could potentially rival the like of RTX2080 in term of flops to flops performances

That rumors were further solidified after XSX had officially unveiled by Microsoft during TGA. Based on the design alone Microsoft is certainly prioritizing the thermal control to cool the beasts inside of the box. Many had speculated it was designed for 300w with the addition of 140mm fans exhausting it through the top.

Meanwhile, the PS5 dev kit suggested that it will not claim the throne as the strongest or fastest next-gen console. There were speculations of Sony's struggling tp cap PS5 dev kit above 10tf and lowered it down below 10TF.

Last time both Nintendo and Microsoft went insane with their console design of WiiU and XB1 in order to cater towards casual market, but Microsoft was fortunate enough to salvage the situation with consistent 3rd party support thanks to the console specification that wasn't far off from base PS4's specification and the appointment of Phil Spencer replacing Don Mattrick as the head of XBOX division while WiiU was doomed to failure right from the start with weak hardware specification and confusing brand name. PS4 then proceeded in an automated mood and cruised through to win against them without any resistance.

This time around, Nintendo has learned the hard lesson from WiiU's failure with the released of Nintendo Switch. Nintendo approached the new generation with a very clear intention right off the bat, they're no longer chasing after casual market like the previous 2 generations' consoles(WII and WIIU) but instead, they're targetting their hardware toward the core fanbase of Nintendo. Nintendo Switch is currently outpacing the PS4 hardware sales launch aligned.

Microsoft, on the other hand, has made it clear by Phil Spencer that they're going to take the route of what defines the XBOX's original vision. Strongest console and Games instead of a multimedia entertainment system that was heavily advertised during XB1 launched window. The acquisition of a few experience developers further strengthens the core of the XBOX division development team.
