Buying nice car plate no through online agent

Come across to see a lot people posting in Facebook selling nice plate number. Wonder if this is reliable and genuine? How to ensure the number transfer to my name once payment is done?

Anyone purchase number from those online agent before? Mind to share your experience? Thanks in advance.

I saw some okok and nice but not very fancy number like ???138, ???188, ???388 are selling at around RM3k to 4k.

While some very fancy number like ???5555 or 7777 is selling at RM10k to 13k.

So ya, what do you think about their profit margin?

New CRV or New Harrier

If the price and maintenance cost not a major concerns, would you rather to save the RM100k and to spend it on other purposes (e.g. bring whole family for overseas vacation) and just buy the CRV.

Or you would prefer putting the additional RM100k and get the Harrier?

For me, CRV is definitely more value for money, however, Harrier looks so elegant. Hard to decide.

By the way, I am now driving a 9 years old Altis.

Process to get proof of guardianship from court

Hi all,

Really appreciate if anyone could advise on this matter. My cousin has passed away in an accident and leaving behind his wife and a young kid. There is no WILL. He named his kid (less than 18 years old) as the beneficiary under his insurance. We contacted the agent and was told that his wife need to obtain a proof of guardianship from court in order for the money to be disbursed to her, otherwise, will need to wait for the kid to reach 18 years old.

Anyone can advise the process to obtain the relevant documents or proof as mentioned by the agent? Since it is going to be a dealing with court, is it necessary to hire a lawyer in handling this? The insurance amount is not big, thinking of not worth if hiring a lawyer. Also, money is a major concern now too since the leaving of my cousin.

Hi,

Anyone knows how can I buy an unregistered car plate number? Surely not all numbers from 1-9999 will be tendered or bid by people each round right? For instance, some nice numbers e.g. Single digit or double digits, could be from any states. Any possible way to check and buy for that number online?

Also curious, I saw plenty of post in Facebook offering those nice numbers by some sellers (not JPJ). Is this legit?

Transfer car ownership from Husband to Wife

Understand that car ownership transfer under normal circumstances e.g. Seller to buyer would required puspakom inspection.

How about transfer from husband to wife? Do I still need to go through the same process and need to go for puspakom inspection?

My concern is that the car that intended for ownership transfer is quite old, it is about 25 years old car, worry can't passed the puspakom inspection.

Any idea on the above? Thanks in advance for the advices. Thank you.

Should get another test after 14 days?

If someone tested positive and isolated for 14 days, should he/she get another test to ensure the body does not carry anymore virus?

According to the guidelines published by authority (KKM), patient is not recommended to perform another swab test.

Anyone know the reason? Or can you share your real experience if any. Thanks.

RT-PCR high CT value - early stage or is recovery?

My cousin tested positive for Covid 19. The lab staff informed that he is under recovery stage now due to high CT value detected.

So my question is that how would they know high CT value indicate recovery stage? Why can't the patient was tested during the early stage of infection, so the virus has not replicated enough.

Anyone have the answer?

As per title, I don't experience any side effects after Pfizer jab. Only minor sore arm on the following day. No sign of fever or any discomfort. Is this normal?

P/S: Definitely not empty syringe, the nurse showed me the syringe before and after the jab.

Hi all. I have life insurance policy since long time ago. I have also named my parents as the beneficiary (100%). For information, I am married when I purchased the policy and did the nomination.

My query arises when I come across the information that if the policy owner is MARRIED, the only legal benefiary are SPOUSE or CHILDREN. In this case, other nomination for instance PARENTS, they will only act as executor and eventually must pass on the insurance proceeds to the legal benefiaries.

May I know if the above is true? Eventhough they are my parents, but they are not the legal beneficiary just because I am married?

P/S: I have consulted my insurance agent, but she seems not very clear on this subject matter and needs further clarification with her company.
