Shopee-based foreigners sell cheap local milk

Open Shopee.
Search for "nestle nan ha 2".
Apply filter for price range RM81-RM84.

There are 8 offers, invariably using same 2 images, with one watermarked "Today Online Shop" (another unrelated, legit shop based on buyers from that legit shop)

The duplicate shops uses these identities
- qiesidi.cn (location: putrajaya)
- airis.cn (gemencheh, negeri sembilan)
- saifulsh.cn (bagan datoh, perak)
- easynet.cn (melaka)

Browse the landing page of airis.cn and easynet.cn.
You'll see exact similar Description text.

They are actually based in China, not local.
But they put their duplicitous shops as 4 different local base.

The LOCAL milk formula I sought for is RRP ~RM118 (step 1) and RM111.10 (step 2).
These duplicated shops are supposedly selling it for RM84 and RM81 respectively.
An enticing RM30 discount!

Each of the shops supposedly have stock of 2000 cans.
But each also carry the same requirement for 7days of lead time.
Are they shipping Malaysian milk all the way from...China?

Am i accusing them as scammer? I cannot say for certain.
But I'm bringing it out here as so many red flags were tripped over.

I know scammers are abound, but for Shopee to let this kind of seller with this kind of duplicitous behaviour go unchecked, ....

Co-owners refuse/delay sign on building plan

Dear /k

I bought subplot of land for building a home. Let's get it out of the way that i have no experience regarding this, and i was not advised nor sought advised during the purchase.

There are 18 co-cowners, each with 1 or 2 subplots.

I have been going back and forth for the past 2 years to meet architect, EPF, local council, and Land Office.

Part of financing requirement is to get local authority to approve building plan.

I got almost all co-owners to sign off to let me send plan for approval.

Except 2 co-owners.

One gave reason that he is in an ongoing court case (i don't know for what) and he wants to get his lawyer's opinion whether it's ok to sign off and let me build. (!!?) I had been weeks and everytime i make numerous phone calls to meet or straight away show up at home, if he answers, he gave the same "still waiting for feedback" argument, or the parents will say "not home".

Another said the sale and purchase agreement executed by lawyer of original owner 3 years ago is non-binding as the grant still is a single plot with Land Office. He is not convinced that i will respect the border of subplot and he refused to sign as he don't want to take risk that i might infringe outside. (His own subplot is not even adjacent by few more subplots who have signed off.)

Splitting off the subplots into individual titles is up in the air; with most of the co-owners have not met each other at all (i am the person who is now herding them into a communication group as i collect the signatures). i foresee it will take few more years for that to happen, and just collecting signature for something that does not cost money to any of them is already difficult, what more when we need to split the bill for individual titles.

Now, I am not backing off. I want to proceed.

But with the 2 refusing and/or delaying, WHAT CAN I DO TO BYPASS THEIR UNCOOPERATIVE ATTITUDE? so that i can submit the building plan for approval.

Bank refuses to amend customer phone number

I have 2 phone numbers which i signed up for my kids. almost 4 months if not longer.

I've hold on to these numbers for some time and have chased away all the scammers and ahlongs and club memberships and direct selling and training center....

... but until today, i cannot get them delisted from banks.

#1 previous owner is still merrily swiping card and transferring money in kuching. secret recipe lah. vapeempire lah. I have been calling Bank I everytime SMS arrives, but until today, the bank refuses to even find the account holder. And rep even admit that they will not amend if customer did not amend.

#2 was supposedly owned by a datuk. or dato. from jengka if not mistaken. sometimes random person call asked for a woman instead. Every now and then, i get automated calls from Bank R to ask to pay outstanding pinjaman perumahan.

Nice phone numbers, so, cancelling them is not an option.
Blacklisting the Banks from calling or SMS-ing is also not an option, since they utilise range of random numbers.

(And frankly, i fucuk if bank rep suggest i blacklist - they are at fault, and i need to use up and manage my limited blacklist slot? Sacrifice device performance to traverse ever growing blacklist everytime i got incoming calls or sms?)

I have even submitted my bill to prove that i now own these numbers. I don't think it is fair that these bank hide behind law. They say it is ok that they refuse to amend because law saud it must be done in-person, but it is also ok for them to keep on revealing banking activity to unrelated party, which is actually also against the law they are hiding behind.

What is left that can i do, to force these banks to amend their customer bank record?

seriously, banks should have procedure to handle cases involving recycled number. It's not fair for me to keep on being disturbed like this.

even if you want to strengthen the structural integrity of the tapau-ware, redo the stupid small ridges at the bottom.

i am not structural engineer or mould expert. tapi pakai akai lah. difficult to korek keluar. wasting time. wasting food. not for human use.

food seller should stop using this brand of packaging.

CIMB online credit card system experiencing downtime

CIMB took to social media to reassure customers that their teams "are working to bring our systems back to normal" after "experiencing some technical issues", and to apologise for any inconvenience caused to customers trying to access its banking services today (Sept 4).

The issue first came to light when companies like Malaysia Airlines and Shopee issued statements on their respective social media platforms informing CIMB users about a technical issue related to the card payment system. Users were then urged to use online banking portal CIMB Clicks or other payment methods.

However, it seems that users are also facing issues with CIMB Clicks. One user who goes by the handle @Mergana7 shared a screenshot detailing System Downtime information on the website, which appeared to state that the online banking portal will be inaccessible for users until 7pm today.

Meanwhile, other users are claiming that other CIMB banking services like the ATM are affected by issues as well.
