W10 activated without key in the serial key

Hi,

Im using Dell Inspiron 14R 5421 (originally come with freedos)
Previously i used W7 pro with serial key buy from lyn seller (RM25 if im not mistaken)

I decided to upgrade to W10 and use SSD drive.

I download the iso by using Windows 10 installation media (Media Creation Tools) USB.

Before i format the W7 hdd, i use Show Key Plus software to get the W7 serial number in case i have problem in future.
But the software cannot detect the W7 seial number.
Already chat with Microsoft helpdesk also cannot retrieve the serial key.

Since the key is cheap, so nevermind la

So i start with fresh install for W10 at my new SSD.
Old hdd i delete all partition and format (put at caddy - optical drive)

During the installation, i skip to key in the serial key since i dont buy it yet.
I didnt link any email with Microsoft product.

I use the laptop about 2~3 day without key in the serial key.

I just plan to buy the serial key, but what surprising me is the Windows 10 already activated!

Im using free dos supposedly no oem serial number in motherboard.
Old hdd, i fully delete and format the partition.
I retrieve the W10 serial key by using ShowKeyPlus software, i cross check with my record, i never bought any serial key with the same key.

Now i have doubt am i using the original installer or not?
Is it crack version? But i download from Microsoft official website.

How this can happen?

Anyone have experience like me?

W10 did not detect hdd in caddy

Hi,

I just upgrade my old Dell Inspiron 14R 5421 with SSD.
The old hdd i put in the hdd caddy at optical drive.

I already install Windows 10 (fresh install) at the SSD.

In BIOS detect both drive (SSD & old hdd)
In Disk Management also detect the both drive.

But in My Computer only show SSD.
The old hdd drive cannot view.

I already update all driver but still cannot view the old hdd drive.

Anyone can help me?

Poor mobile signal

Hi everyone,

I have problem with poor mobile signal at my homestay.
Problem with receive call and data as well.
Already try with different telco (Celcom, Digi, Maxis).
The result still same.
To get digital TV signal also problem even use outdoor antenna.
My area is surrounding by hill.
The installer guy say that hill block the signal from the tower.

Before this DIGI already install their communication tower near to my place (Deal with previous land lot)
But the new land lot did not happy.
Then DIGI already remove their tower.

Im not sure where should i complaint about this.
Already try several time call CFM consumer hotline but no pickup.

Not sure what options do i have.
If you refer to the below picture, less than 100meter to the left of my homestay can get a good signal since there is no block from the hill.

Before this have heard about gsm booster.
But not sure is it possible to install the booster since there is a hill surrounding my area.

Any one have experience with gsm booster?
Any opinion?

Date & Time Always Reset

Hi guys,

Im using Asus K46CM laptop.
Lately i have problem with my laptop which will reset the time and date everytime i shutdown the laptop.

Already change the CMOS battery with the same specification as previous one.

But still not settle the problem.

I try to update the date & time server at Internet Time Setting, but get an error. (refer to below picture)
Already try all server but not working.

Install Unifi at rental room

Hi guys,

I plan to install unifi (100mbps) at my rental room.
I have 6 room in total.
The room arrangement is like picture below.

I dont have any experience & knowledge about the wifi or networking.

If i want to make sure all customers get the stable & balance internet connection between each room, should i put the modem and router at the location mark with X?
The X area is drainage system area.
If OK, i will put all electronics part in a proper box.
I think this is the center of all rooms.

I also plan to install IPTV box to all room.
Do i need to use LAN cable instead of wifi?
Or the wifi itself already good enough (100mbps) to get stable connection (no lagging)?

Do i need to change the modem & router that TM give free?
If yes, can you suggest to me what brand and model should i buy?
Because some review say the modem & router from TM is not very stable.

Feel free to give any suggestion on how i want to give better internet connection to my customer.

Free TV channels at guesthouse

I have 6 rooms at my guesthouse. Location at the hillside.

I would like to install tv that can get free channel and each room have their own remote control.

Since astro have commitment for every month, do i have any option that more cheaper than astro?

Please let me know what type of TV i need to buy.
Do i need to buy decoder.
Must have internet connection or not.

Cheap Microsoft License Key

Hi,

Few month a ago, i noticed some seller sell Microsoft software such as W7, W10, Office etc., in very cheap price.
Around RM50 you can get the new license key.

But the license can only :
1. Use for 1 pc/laptop only.
2. Can be reinstall at the same pc/laptop without change the hardware.
3. Only get the serial number without COA, box etc.

The market price for the license is around RM100 and above if i`m not mistaken (Sorry because i not so update with the latest price)

I already bought W7 license key and install to my laptop.
I don't have any problem to activate and update my W7.
Its mean the license is legal.

But when i try to upgrade my W7 to W10 (Microsoft offer free upgrade), Microsoft detect that i use the fake/hack/wrong key.
I already talk with Microsoft technician, he said the same thing. He suspect im using the fake/hack/wrong key.

The seller claimed the license is legal and original from Microsoft.

My question is, is it legal license key?
Is it really Microsoft sell the license key in very cheap price?

Two firefox.exe processes in task manager

Yesterday i noticed when i open Firefox, there are two processes of firefox.exe running in the background.
I only open 1 browser in one time.
And only open 1 tab, but there still have two processes.

I use W7 Pro (64bit).
Already scanned with Avira and Malwarebytes, but not found any virus or malware.

Is it a virus or what?

Baru2 ini saya ada beli laptop second hand melalui mudah.my dari seorang seller di johor.
Bila balik dari cod, baru saya perasan kat bawah laptop tu ada sticker “Property of xxxxxxx” (Singapore company)

Bila saya tanya seller tu balik, dia kata ini laptop member dia.
Sticker itu untuk tujuan safety kalau nak bawa laptop sendiri keluar masuk company singapore tu.

Saya dah check online di website dell, laptop nie still under warranty.
Tapi tak ada maklumat dalam website dell tu untuk check sama ada owner sebelum ini pernah buat report laptop hilang ke tak.

Kalau laptop ini laptop curi, what should i do?
Sebab saya tak boleh nak guna laptop curi untuk buat kerja saya, nanti rezeki jadi tak halal.
Saya dah emel company tu, tapi so far still tak ada jawapan lagi.
Siapa2 yang ada pengalaman macam nie, boleh share tak apa yang patut saya buat?
Sebab still tak sure sama ada laptop ini laptop curi atau tak.

How to recover data from unallocated partition

Hi guys, need your advice/help

I install Windows 7 64 bit in my seagate 750gb.
Total, there are 3 partition (C-150gb, D-200gb dan E-370gb)

Because of software that I use for my FYP are compatible only with Windows XP 32 bit, so I plan to shrink my drive C to install Windows XP on it.

After I shrink 40gb, I restart the computer and install Windows XP in the new partition.

When Windows XP fully install in my drive, I realized that my partition E (370gb) become Unallocated.

Disk management for both OS (Windows 7 and Windows XP), show the partition become Unallocated.

So, need your advice what should I do to get the data back?
Is it possible to get the data back 100%?

Hi guys.
Need your opinion, can AMD AM2 socket processor use in AM3 motherboard?
Before this im using AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000 (AM2).
Since my ASUS M2N68-AM mobo got problem, so i plan to buy new mobo which is support DDR3 and AM3 processor (i plan to upgrade to phenom but budget still not enough so prefer to use my old processor)

Is there any mobo that can support AM2 and AM3 socket?
If have, can u suggest me the mobo.

My requirements is that mobo can support :
1. AMD AM2 and AM3 socket
2. 8gb DDR3 dual channel
3. Onboard vga and pcie

HP Mini 210 Cant use bluetooth after format W7

I got problem with my bluetooth after i format this netbook to Windows 7 Ultimate.
Before this used W7 starter, can use bluetooth.
Got this netbook free from TM.
I already install Software Support for HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth Wireless Technology for Microsoft Windows 7 but still can not use.
Can someone help me to setting bluetooth in this netbook.

already try with install ndiswrapper and install the netr28.inf.
but still cannot connect to the internet.
