Saturday and Sunday off, Monday 1 day, Tuesday and Wednesday public holiday, have to wait until Thursday....

Streamyx 3M/512K

I have been charged for RM200++ (pro-rated) after 2-3 weeks usage. I manage to download file from http around 100-250kbps, but BT-ing not more than 20kbps at most of the time, but it could reach up to 200kbps for few cases.

It is worth?

****

I have using streamyx nearly 5 years. I met an Indian guys at streamyx stall in February, he said streamyx offer 2mb for homeuser from Damansara, Bangsar and Putrajaya only. After 2 months, suddently my 1mb package (RM99) become 3mb.

Are they wrongly capped my speed or they wrongly charged my bill?

****

Just to update info, i have called streamyx service center. This is the how they calculate my bill.

RM62.67+RM188-RM33=RM217.67

First amount for 21/4-30/4 (pro-rated RM188)
Second amount for 1/5-30/5
Third amount for rebated 21/4-30/4 (pro-rated RM99)

So, the "NEW" 3M/512K package is RM188.

If every 1M homeuser can get free upgrade to 2M, then no need to subscribe this package as BT speed is the same.
