As we all know the etunai RM30 will be coming soon. In order to claim it, we have to verify our Touch n Go or Boost account with a photo of our mykad and our face.

What are the risks here by doing that?

1. Boost or TnG security can be breached and our mykad can be leaked.
2. They have our spending pattern.

I have a Lenovo laptop with faulty screen. Screen is 14" with 1920x1080 resolution and 30pin connector.

Can I get a cheaper 14" screen with the same 30pin connector but the resolution is 1366x768 and fit it in. Will it work?

Are laptop screens generic and the same screens can fit various brand of laptops as long as the connector fits?

I did it on the 1st Oct via portal and still no news about it. My service start date still shows my old original date.

I'm afraid TM might pull a stupid stunt like activate it only close to end of December, then we benefit only a few days, but start 24 month contract.

Old SIM card no 4G

I just bought a new Samsung A30.

My mobile data download speeds are only 2.5MBps.

Is this because of SIM card? My original SIM is standard size from year 2010, and now I cut it into Nano sim.
Is it possible that old SIM does not support 4G speeds? or is my phone faulty?

Anyone can share their knowledge with Xiaomi phones.

I'm going to get one of these phones - roughly same price.

Redmi 7 or Mi A2 Lite

Obvious differences I can see is A2 has higher resolution screen, slightly faster cpu, and it's last year's model.

I like the A2 cos it's a bit smaller overall.

Any cons in getting last year's model? And any quality difference between these 2 phones?

2.5" IDE cable = Flobby cable?

I have a 2.5" IDE HDD that needs to be connected directly to a computer. cannot use USB converter.
My old PC has floppy drive port on the motherboard, but I don't have the cable.

My questions is, can this port also read 2.5" IDE drives? I just buy a floppy disk cable and it should work right?

I have 100Mbps package, but for a few weeks I'll be in a different house in a different state. This house has Unifi Basic with 60GB quota.

Is it possible for me to bring along my unifi and set it up at the other location? Something like old astro just bring smart card can watch your channels.
If I key in my username/password in the other router will it work?

I plan to get a phone around RM700. Looking at Samsung A30, M20 and Xiaomi Redmi 7. All are 3GB RAM models.

Don't really care about screen or camera quality.

Looking for something reliable and durable and without any problems/lag.

Is Samsung still a good brand? Is it worth the extra RM200+? over the Xiaomi?

Does anyone know if it's possible to set the date rage to see how much WiFi is used?

In Settings, Data Usage, WiFi, there are options for today, yesterday, this month and last month only. I remember in older androids you can slide a graph thing and set your custom range.
