Cost to install new kitchen faucet

Hi guys,

May I know on average, how much would it cost to hire a plumber to install a new kitchen faucet? Mine is getting old and dripping, so I'm thinking of getting it replaced.

I live in Seputeh, Kuala Lumpur.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Hi all,

As per the title, can someone recommend to me good automatic litter box models that can be bought either physically or online via Shopee/Lazada?

My criteria are as follows:

cleans by sideways rather than vertical rotation - I heard about cats being killed by malfunctioning boxes crushing their necks and bodies.
my cats don't like to bury their poop, if this makes a difference.
have a Malaysian service center for repairs - it will be expensive, so if there's an issue I want to be able to repair it
no leaks - obviously, I don't want it to leak when used
not too loud when operating - I don't want to scare my cats
doesn't use proprietary litter and/or plastic bags

Please feel free to also share your experiences on using automatic litter boxes; I'm always eager to learn more. Thank you!

My windshield cracked; what should I do?

While driving along the MEX highway today I heard a lot "thud" like something hitting my windshield. At first I couldn't find anything wrong, but a few hours after I parked the car I noticed a hairline crack along it, as per the attached picture.

I'm new at owning a car, so I have questions:

a. is there a way to fix this or is the only solution to do a windshield replacement?

b. if it's replacement, should I do it at a Honda workshop or would a third-party shop suffice?

c. would getting the windshield replaced at a third-party shop void the warranty? The car is still within the 5-year warranty and I'd prefer to keep it as long as possible.

d. how much would the repair (or replacement) cost? Finally,

e. I have windshield coverage for my car insurance; if I claim for that, would that affect my NCB?

Hi guys,

Recently we (the family) found out that my brother have been taking loans from ah longs, and now he's on the run (supposedly). Today I'm getting multiple whatsapp messages and phone calls from people telling me that my brother owes them money.

I have nothing to do with all this, and I'm not the guarantor either. What can I do to protect myself?

I talked to the police, and they said to just block all of their attempts; I've also registered a police report to create a proper paper trail / chain of events.

a. should I have talked to the AL on whatsapp to explain to them I have nothing to do with this?

b. what should I do if some guys dropped by my house?

"Pay the loan" is not an option for me because a) it's a huge amount, and b) it's not my debt, and honestly I don't want to take responsibility for something I didn't do.

Looking for driving school recommendations

Hey guys,

Can you recommend me a good driving school? The main criteria I'm looking for is the school having a (very) patient instructor.

I only recently needed to learn how to drive because in case of emergencies Grab/Mycar etc. might not be reliable. However I have zero experience with cars (beyond riding them as passengers ofc) so I might act blur and/or panicky especially when taking lessons on the road.

I know someone who signed up for Perfect Driving School, and his experience is hell - at one point the instructor yelled about how it will be a miracle if he survived the lesson, and if he can please stop trying to get a license because he'll never pass. I really wish to avoid that experience because when I'm panicking, yelling at me won't make me improve, and I'm more afraid that I would get angry and punch an instructor like that.

I don't mind the location as long as it's within KL/Selangor.

I tried Google ofc but the results are rather mixed, so I thought it would be better if I get informed reviews / recommendations from you guys.
