Hi guys,

Been away from the tech news for awhile now, so I need help in deciding which is the best windows tablet for my dad.

I've surveyed some of it and tbh

1. Microsoft Surface Book (too exp but right on the mark with his usage)
2. Acer Aspire Switch (cheaper but having doubts on the brand itself as I experienced bad product with notebook in my early days)

My dad's usage is usually reading/watching news, youtube, social media and forex via advanced get.

one more thing, if there is other tablet that is better than the 2 I've mentioned, please feel free to suggest it too.

Req is

1. Sturdy (dad kinda clumsy at times)
2. Good quality (as in will last long, since my dad likes to keep something for too long, still have the ibm laptop from way back)
3. Price (lets just say if its worth the price albeit being pricey, fire away)

May I know where to fix ext hdd or atleast recovery the data in it? My friend's ext. hdd recently malfunction and alot of important data store in that hdd, he forgot to make back up. He lives in Terengganu and I'm all the way in Shah Alam.

is there any place in Terengganu to fix ext hdd? and if there is, how much is it?

gtx970 problem

I have a problem with my computer. It seems that every time I install gtx970 driver, the screen will always be artifact but whenever I uninstall and use the standard vga driver, it reverts back to normal and the same thing happens if I install the driver back again.

Is it possible that my graphic card is defecting or virus? because I restart my pc earlier today and everything works out perfectly but after the restart my screen become artifact-y

Solution that I did (but didnt work)
1. reset the overclock on cpu n gpu
2. clean uninstall via ddu (Display Driver Uninstaller)
3. installed avg (tho there is no virus detected)
