Sapphire HD6850 safe temperature?

Any hd6850 user here? i just upgraded my old hd4850, smaller fan edition, temp on load was max 60 C. now my hd6850 with bigger fan and sleek casing looks supposingly cooler but it can shoot up to 64 C

is this temp normal? the fan is set on auto. is it reliable? should i manually set it?

Help to verify network adaptor problem

need help to verify my network adaptor problem. things went unusual suddenly when i found that i couldn't connect to the internet, reset my modem din help. saw Orange LED indication at the back of network adaptor, usually green (atheros ar8131 pci-e gigabit ethernet controller (ndis 6.20). i googled it, said its detection of 100mb/s i hav no idea at all.

tried to restart the pc, it took so long taht i hav to force shut down, this is unusual too. went into safe mode n look at the network adaptor in device manager, checked the status of it, weird enough it says 'No driver is installed' while i go back n click update driver, it said driver is updated, then device manager gone hang.... repeated this few times n its same.

i have strong feelings that this is hardware problem. what do u think?

Im working behind a wifi connection in my office, 1 day i heard rumors of colleagues being caught abusing the internet by surfing inappropriate websites or download bt n so on...

so it came to my curiosity, how possible is it to monitor what wifi users are doing? anybody knows?

How to recover quarantined files infected by worm?

well it happened typically when u let some computer security noobs took care of ur pendrive...

so my eset nod32 detected the worms (win32/autorun.vb.rf worm) n quarantined it, i then tried to restore it but my eset wud immediately requarantined it. i guess the worm is jus not deleted.

appreciate any help. the file pretty important to me.

1 SATA & adding 2 IDE

im running 1 SATA 500gb, intending to install 2 IDE hdd, 120gb + 40gb (from my old rig) which only serve as a simple storage.

so i've got the 2 IDE sloted in the hdd bay, plugged in the power, IDE connector onto the 2 IDEs, jumper set on 'free select' (1st position) or shud i set 1 master n 1 slave?

now shud i connect it to mobo, turn on then will it auto detect? or manually set it in bios?

house concrete structure deteterioration

im living in a 26 years old double storeys detached house, from the photos i uploaded you can see cracks, concrete fall-off, thick scale corrosion of the metal support rods.

what could be the factors contributing to all these? how serious is this?

it obviously posing threats of concrete failures as a worst case scenario and decrease in resale values, but i need to know if a repair to the specific affected areas would be sufficient in reconditioning this? or a reconstruction required?

any experts here could provide me advices? most importantly the basic cost for the repair or reconstruction.

i have a laptopwif vista home premium, when accesing to local wifi, i tend to do 2 things, surfing n bt'ing.

i hav no idea y all in a sudden i cant access to any websites while i check the connection n all were fine, bt is running normally. cant msn/ym either.

tried to reset the connection but it din help out. lastly i restarted my laptop n everything went back normal.

this thing happen regularly until im almost adapting to it but i realise this jus cant go on... my laptop is quite new... but no 1 beside ould help... all blur blur liao...

here i ask for a lil help in this n wud appreciate if lights r shed

constant loss of display

so here i got an old pc, using to online, download n online games
specs: p4 1.6, 512ram, 40gb, all other things r onboard except gfx geforce 5500, 256mb, 128bit

ive been using this happily untill 2 weeks ago the prob started, it 1st turned off my monitor while playing online game(sro) but the cpu still running so i restarted it but the monitor still in black with the green light blinking. took it to service center, no error found, the technician open it for whole day, ran 3dmarks on it, no prob found.

so i took it home play the online game, 30 mins later prob came
i restarted it several times continously it doesn't help, turn it on hrs later it finally came back.

any1 can tell me wads wrong?

what do i need to install to view youtubes?

this is a reformated computer, the plugins or setting all gone so to play youtubes it said to install the flash player from macromedia n i did but cant seem to play the vids?

b4 installing flash player the bar with 'play' 'pause' wont show, now with flash player, its thr but vid wont load ... help

ive dled a game installation file (cd1.iso n cd2.iso) its in rar icon, so i extracted it, clicked the setup.exe in cd1, n it went smooth installing, but the prob came when it said 'insert disc 2'... folder cd2 doesnt has any setup files or any files dat works? but thrs this autorun.inf, i open it but found its jus sum information in text...

im guessing it has to be written to cd? any idea any1? appreciate ur help thx

im a new router user n quite fresh in networking, all i rely on to install/config is the installation cd came wif the package, but sum how i hav no idea how u ppl can config so much, can even see whos in ur wireless teritory? so i guess thrs mus be an admin tool la? teach me pls
