Sg Whispers- Got lied and had 2 abortions

Read on website:
https://www.whispers.sg/c/sgwhispers/posts/12369

QUOTE

#12369: My Story of Deception, Pregnancy, and Emotional Manipulation
I am a Malaysian woman. Today, I refuse to stay silent. I want to speak publicly about a year and a half of deception, manipulation, and emotional harm that I endured.
I met this Singaporean man through work. We first became properly acquainted at a company dinner.
After that, he started pursuing me, and in September 2024, we officially entered into a relationship.
I am a very private person, so I never made this relationship public. I believed we were simply keeping our relationship low-key.
What I did not realize was that from the very beginning, it was built on lies.
In December 2024, just three months into the relationship, I became pregnant for the first time.
He told me that we had only just started dating and that the pregnancy came too suddenly. He persuaded me to terminate the pregnancy.
I trusted him.
And I endured the pain of letting go of my first child.
It was not until September 2025, when I became pregnant for the second time, that I discovered he already had a wife.
My world completely collapsed.
Yet he continued to manipulate and emotionally control me.
He told me that he and his wife had not had a sexual relationship for ten years, that their marriage was already dead in name, and that he was in the process of getting a divorce.
He also insisted that I had to terminate the pregnancy first so that I could continue living well in Singapore and so that we could have a future together.
I believed him again.
And once again, I hurt my own body and terminated the pregnancy.
The divorce he promised never happened. From beginning to end, it was just another lie.
This relationship dragged on until February 2026, sustained by his persuasion, manipulation, and deception.
Then I became pregnant for the third time.
This time, he stopped pretending.
On one hand, he pressured me to have another abortion.
On the other hand, he threatened me saying that if my family ever found out, or if I exposed him, I would have to face the consequences.
Now, he has chosen the easiest path for himself: silence treatment.
He ignores me, avoids responsibility, and pretends nothing happened.
The most ironic part of all this is that throughout everything, he still believes he is not a bad man.
He often told me:
“Other men would only lie to you. I wouldn’t.”
Looking back now, it is almost laughable.
He lied through three pregnancies.
He pressured me into two abortions.
He delayed a divorce that never existed.
And in the end, he threatened me and disappeared.
Yet he still said he was not the kind of man who lies.
Only now do I fully realize the truth.
From the very beginning, he hide his marriage.
When I first became pregnant, he was already avoiding responsibility.
By the second pregnancy, he was manipulating my emotions.
And by the third, he was openly pressuring and threatening me to sacrifice my own body again.
As a woman trying to build a life in a foreign country, I trusted him.
I was soft-hearted.
I stayed quiet and kept the relationship private.
Because of that trust, I was slowly dragged into a situation that damaged both my body and my mind.
Three pregnancies.
Two abortions.
The physical and emotional scars cannot simply disappear.
And throughout all of it, he enjoyed my sincerity and devotion while never giving me a single honest truth or taking any real responsibility.
I am sharing this not to seek sympathy.
I am sharing this to remind other women:
Never lower your guard simply because someone appears gentle, respectable, or professionally connected to you.
Some people may appear completely normal on the outside, yet inside they can be deeply irresponsible, manipulative, and even capable of threatening the people who trust them.
I also want to say to anyone who has been hurt like I have:
Silence will not earn you kindness.
Endurance will not earn you sincerity.
Protecting yourself is never too late.

TLDR:
1. married man found free pancut girl
2. girl pregnant 3 times, all force to abort
3. found out he married, he claims no sex life with waifu
4. he says he isn't a bad guy, other guys yes, not him
5. he silent treatment her, disappeared

Some people say, never burn bridges, cause you never know when you'll need their help again.

Have you ever burnt bridges? Family, friends, colleagues?

What's the deciding point for you to do so? Ever regretted burning bridges?

The curse of the chinese culture of expectations,

from a fb by grace moya.

a little long but worth reading - especially if you are a daughter in the family

QUOTE

My mom always said my brother was the filial one.
So I stopped sending the $9,300 I’d been giving them every month.
A week later, my brother called.
“Hey, little sis. Mom said you forgot to send the money this month.”
The ringtone cut through the silence at 11:30 p.m., sharp and jarring.
I stared at the words “Brother” on the screen, my finger hovering over the answer button for a full ten seconds.
One week.
An entire week since I’d stopped sending money home—and Mom had already asked him to call and collect.
“Little sis, Mom said you forgot to send the money this month.”
Su Hong’s voice came through the phone, as matter-of-fact as always.
My hand holding the phone began to tremble—not from guilt, but from anger.
For three years, without fail, I’d sent 9,300 yuan every month.
At first it had been my entire salary when I just started working.
Now that I earned 20,000 a month, it was still nearly half my income.
Yet every time Mom talked to the neighbors, she’d say the same thing:
“My son is so filial. He buys me this, buys me that.”
No one had ever asked who actually paid for those things.
“Forgot?” I let out a small laugh.
“Brother… do you really think I forgot?”
The other end of the line went silent for a few seconds. Then Su Hong’s voice came back, slightly flustered.
“What do you mean by that?”
I looked out the window at the lights of thousands of homes.
Suddenly I remembered what Mom had told me three years ago, right after I graduated.
“Your brother has a family to support. The pressure on him is huge. You’re just a girl—you don’t spend much money anyway. Help the family out a little more.”
Back then, I’d been so naïve.
It was the summer three years ago when I brought home my first real job contract.
$12,000 a month.
For a fresh graduate, that was already a pretty good starting salary.
The moment Mom, Wang Huizhen, saw the number on the contract, her eyes lit up.
“Chenchen, you’re so capable—much better than your brother,” she said, already calculating something in her head.
“But your brother’s under a lot of pressure right now. Xiaobao is only two years old. Milk powder, diapers… everything costs money. So…”
I didn’t think much of it at the time. After all, they were my family.
“Mom, how much do you want me to send home each month?” I asked.
“You don’t need to send too much,” she said casually, as if discussing dinner.
“Just keep three thousand for yourself. Send the rest home.”
Nine thousand.
Three-quarters of my salary.
But seeing the hopeful look on her face, I nodded anyway.
“Okay. But just temporarily—once my brother’s situation improves—”
“Of course, of course! Just helping out for now,” she said quickly, already heading to the kitchen to cook something nice for me.
That night my brother Su Hong and my sister-in-law Chen Xiaohong came over for dinner.
At the table, Mom excitedly announced the “good news.”
“Our Chenchen has a high salary—she said she’ll give the family 9,000 every month!”
She was grinning from ear to ear.
“With that money, we won’t have to worry about Xiaobao’s education fund.”
Su Hong set down his chopsticks and patted my shoulder.
“Thank you, little sister.”
Chen Xiaohong nodded repeatedly.
“Chenchen is so sensible. Not like some girls who only know how to buy bags and makeup.”
At that moment, I felt a warm sense of recognition from my family.
I thought this was what family love looked like.
The next day, I set up automatic transfer.
On the 25th of every month, 9,000 yuan would go straight into Mom’s account.
Life quickly became tight.
In a city like Shanghai, three thousand yuan barely covered rent and basic living expenses.
I began calculating every penny.
Groceries had to be the cheapest options.
Clothes—I bought only a few pieces all year.
Makeup was always the most basic drugstore brands.
When friends invited me out for dinner, I’d say I had to work late.
When coworkers talked about mall sales, I listened quietly and never joined.
But whenever I thought about how my family was living better because of me, it all felt worth it.
Half a year later, I got my first raise.
My salary went up to 15,000.
I don’t know where Mom heard the news, but she called that very night.
“Chenchen, I heard your company gave you a raise?”
Her voice was barely hiding her excitement.
“Yeah… a little,” I said tiredly. I’d just gotten home from overtime at ten.
“That’s wonderful! Then maybe you can increase the money you send home a little too?”
She continued without waiting for my answer.
“Your brother wants to move to a bigger place recently, and Xiaobao is about to start kindergarten…”
I froze.
I’d thought that once my brother’s situation improved, the amount I sent home would gradually decrease.
Instead, it was increasing.
“You make fifteen thousand now,” Mom said as she calculated.
“Sending 11,000 home isn’t much. You can keep 4,000 for yourself. That’s enough in Shanghai.”
I wanted to argue.
But the words stuck in my throat.
Four thousand was indeed one thousand more than before.
“…Okay.”
I agreed in the end.
After hanging up, I sat on the tiny bed in my rented room, feeling an indescribable grievance.
The joy of my raise disappeared instantly.
All that remained was a heavier burden.
But I told myself it was for family.
For love.
A year later, I got another raise.
My salary rose to 18,000.
This time, I was smarter.
I didn’t tell my family.
But secrets never stayed hidden long.
Mom still found out somehow.
The phone call came right on schedule.
“Chenchen, Mom heard you’re making 18,000 now?”
“Mom…” I started to explain, but she cut me off.
“Your brother is under even more pressure now. Xiaobao needs English classes, and piano lessons too. Those cost a lot every month. Can you help a little more?”
I took a deep breath.
“Mom, I already send a lot home.”
“A lot?” Her tone turned displeased.
“What expenses do you even have? You don’t have children. You don’t have a mortgage. Your brother has a whole family to support.”
Then she added coldly:
“You’re a girl. When you get married, your money will belong to your husband anyway. What’s wrong with helping your own family now?”
Her words pierced me like needles.
I worked hard.
I lived frugally.
And this was how I was judged.
“Mom, I have expenses too—rent, transportation, food…”
“How much could that cost? Stop pretending. I know people working at big companies make good money,” she said sharply.
“If you don’t want to help the family, just say so. Don’t make excuses.”
In the end, I compromised again.
The money I sent home became 13,000 a month.
I even started wondering if I was selfish.
Maybe I really should give more to my family.
Until the day I accidentally overheard Mom talking to a neighbor.
It was the afternoon before Spring Festival last year.
I’d taken time off early to come home and prepare for the holiday.
As I reached the door, I heard Mom chatting with Aunt Wang in the courtyard.
“Your son Su Hong is such a good boy,” Aunt Wang said enviously.
“I heard he bought you a new refrigerator?”
“Of course! My son is the most filial,” Mom said proudly.
“He buys me things all the time.”
“A few days ago he even bought me a massage chair. Said I should enjoy life.”
“And this new coat—is that from him too?”
“Of course!” Mom patted her down jacket proudly.
“He told me to buy whatever I want. Money isn’t an issue.”
I stood outside the door, feeling my blood freeze.
Massage chair.
New refrigerator.
Down jacket.
Those things together must have cost a lot.
And that money—
came from the 13,000 yuan I sent home every month.
“You’re really lucky to have such a filial son,” Aunt Wang sighed.
“Unlike some families—once the daughter gets married, she stops caring about her parents.”
“That wouldn’t happen in my family,” Mom said lightly.
“Our Chenchen is quite sensible too. Her salary isn’t high, but she sends a little money home each month.”
“A little? How much?” Aunt Wang asked.
“Oh, just a few hundred,” Mom said dismissively.
“Maybe enough to buy some fruit.”
“After all, daughters can only do so much. Sons are the ones you rely on.”
My hand tightened around the doorknob.
A few hundred?
I sent 13,000 yuan every month, and in her mouth it became a few hundred?
And my brother—who had never paid a single cent—was the “most filial son”?
I took a few deep breaths before pushing the door open.
“Mom, I’m back.”
“Oh! Chenchen’s home!” Mom instantly changed her expression.
“Come in, come in. Mom will cook something nice for you.”
Aunt Wang greeted me too.
“Back for the New Year? How’s work?”
“Pretty good,” I said with a forced smile.
“Look at our Chenchen,” Mom said proudly while holding my hand.
“She works in a big city now. Very successful.”
“Even though she doesn’t make much, she’s still a white-collar worker.”
Doesn’t make much.
I was earning 18,000 a month, already higher than most people my age.
But in my mother’s eyes—
it was nothing worth mentioning.
That night, I lay in my childhood bed, staring at the ceiling I had once dreamed beneath. Something inside me shifted. Not loudly. Not dramatically. Just quietly broke.
The next morning at breakfast, Mom placed a boiled egg in my bowl—just like she used to when I was little. “Eat more. You’ve gotten thinner,” she said, her tone gentle.
For a moment, I almost forgot everything I had heard. Almost. “Mom,” I said, peeling the egg slowly, “how much do you tell people I send home each month?”
Her chopsticks paused mid-air for just a second. Then she laughed lightly. “Why are you asking that all of a sudden?” “Just curious.”
She waved her hand dismissively. “Oh, just a few hundred. Why would I tell outsiders too much? It’s not like it’s anything impressive.”
I looked up at her. “Not impressive?”
She frowned slightly. “You’re a girl. Being able to send a little back is already good enough. What, do you want me to go around bragging about it?” I didn’t respond. Across the table, my brother was scrolling on his phone, as if none of this concerned him.
My sister-in-law fed Xiaobao, smiling faintly, silent as always. It suddenly felt like I was sitting with strangers.
I went back to Shanghai after the holiday. And for the first time in three years—I didn’t set the automatic transfer. At first, it felt strange.
On the 25th, I kept checking my phone, as if I had forgotten something important. But nothing happened. No calls. No messages. It was quiet. Too quiet. Until a week later. “Brother… do you really think I forgot?” My voice was calm now. Steady.
On the other end, Su Hong cleared his throat. “Well… if you didn’t forget, then why didn’t you send it?”
I leaned back against the couch. “Because I decided not to send it anymore.” Silence. Longer this time. “What do you mean… not send it anymore?” His tone sharpened.
“Are you saying you’re not going to support the family?” I let out a soft laugh. “Support the family? Or support you?”
“Chenchen!” His voice rose. “How can you talk like that? Everything we do is for this family!”
“For the family?” I repeated. “Then tell me—how much have you contributed in the past three years?”
“That’s different! I have a wife and child—”
“And I don’t have a life?” I cut in, my voice finally cracking. “I live on three thousand a month in Shanghai. Do you even know what that’s like?” He went quiet.
“Do you know I haven’t bought new clothes in a year? That I skip meals sometimes? That I turn down every invitation because I can’t afford it?”
Still silence. “And yet,” I said softly, “Mom tells people I send a few hundred. While you—who haven’t paid a single cent—are the filial son.”
“That’s Mom’s way of speaking, don’t take it seriously—” “Her ‘way of speaking’ has taken three years of my life.”
My grip tightened on the phone. “I’m tired, brother. I’m not sending money anymore.”
That night, Mom called over and over again. I didn’t answer.
Finally, she sent a voice message. “Chenchen, what’s wrong with you? Why aren’t you answering? Are you trying to anger me to death?”
I listened, then replied: “For three years, I sent 9,000, then 11,000, then 13,000 every month. I lived on what was left. I never complained. I only asked for fairness.
But you told everyone I only gave a few hundred. You called me ‘just a girl.’ You said my money would belong to someone else anyway.
So from now on—I’ll keep what’s mine.”
The days that followed were not easy. Calls, guilt, pressure.
But for the first time—I didn’t give in.
A month later, something changed. Not in them. In me. I moved into a brighter place. Bought myself a proper coat. The first time I wore it,
I looked at my reflection and felt… lighter.
Three months later, Mom called again. “Chenchen… are you doing well?” “I’m doing well.” A pause. “When are you coming home?”
I looked out at the city lights. “I’ll come back. But not as the daughter who sends money. I’ll come back as myself.”
And for the first time in years—I finally belonged to my own life.

to all daughters who have sacrificed themselves for the 'family', making yourself as a secondary class citizen at home while looking after everyone else in the family, this is for you. thank you for the sacrifices you have made, where there isn't medal or award for you and 'never enough' from your family. no praise, no compliment. just sacrifices.

i don't think the story is over.. there should be a continuation when the mom no longer capable of walking and functioning on her own, who is she gonna call?

It's as relevant today as it was then.

If we're going to have a debate about banning the burqa, a little honesty wouldn't go astray.

A few days ago, a misleading article in the Sydney Morning Herald stated the burqa is a religious requirement. With that false proposition the reporter promptly marched off to a couple of constitutional lawyers seeking advice that a ban of the burqua would be 'unconstitutional' on 'religious grounds'.

Never let the facts get in the way of an agenda.

The burqa isn't a religious requirement, it's a cultural choice.

Nowhere in the Qur'an is the word 'burqa' or a requirement for women to cover their face. The closest you'll find is that men and women dress modestly. That's open to interpretation.

The burqa is the full body covering, head to toe. That means the eyes, too, with a mesh for seeing.

The niqab is a cloth facial covering, with only the eyes visible (which is often misunderstood as the burqa).

The hijab is a modest veil that covers (around) the head and chest. It doesn't cover the face,

But for this argument, we'll consider the current burqa ban argument to include both the niqab and burqa, neither of which are required by the Islamic faith.

The burqa's true origin is cultural. It stems back to the Bedouin desert tribes, to protect from harsh desert sun and sandstorms. ('Bedouin' derives from the Arabic word 'Bedu' - 'the desert dwellers')

So, as far as the constitution goes, there's no legal impediment to banning the burqa. But where there's a reasonable argument, is on security grounds.

These days CCTV is a vital part of security and identifying suspects of criminal activity. Just yesterday we saw the example of a couple of brothers caught on CCTV after bashing a football fan who stepped in to defend a woman.

The only way they were caught was security vision. They were immediately identified, posted on various websites, shared on facebook. Within 2 hours of the first web posting, they walked into a police station and handed themselves in

If it's not permissible to wear a balaclava, helmet or other facial coverings into a bank, or government building then all full-face coverings must apply. That includes a burqa or niqab. Racial or religious arguments are farcical and are easily dismissed.

Many non-Bedouins wear burqas. In fact most burqa wearers are not Bedouin.

Many Bedouins are not Muslim, and many Muslims are not Bedouins.

Women who wear a burqa or niqab do it by choice. That's not enough to claim discrimination if asked to remove, or not enough for any protection under any higher constitutional law.
In these times, it's reasonable for the government to make the right laws on security grounds.

One rule for all.

No exceptions.

This is Australia, not the Arab desert

They opted for the à la carte menu, which the restaurant had confirmed prior to the visit. As they had already eaten earlier, they ordered modestly, which are two cocktails, one bottle of Aqua Panna and four food items.

The diners described the meal as generally average, noting that certain dishes. such as the smoked duck breast, felt underwhelming. During the evening, the restaurant also presented a small birthday cake and brought the group to its champagne room for photos, which at first appeared to be a thoughtful gesture.
Discovery of miscalculation

The bill for the night came to RM517.32 after tax. After deducting their RM100 deposit, they paid RM410 before leaving. It was only the next day that they noticed a discrepancy, although they had ordered two cocktails, the bill reflected charges for three. The additional cocktail, priced at RM58, became the centre of their inquiry.

Following the mischarge, one of the girls contacted the restaurant via Instagram to clarify the charge and asked whether the complimentary cake had been included in the bill. The restaurant confirmed that the cake was free of charge but maintained that the billing was correct.

When the group questioned why they were charged for the extra cocktail, the restaurant responded,

“If you want to dispute over RM58 I’ll get the cash ready for you tomorrow to pickup. You spend RM500 between 4 people lol.”

The owner of the restaurant the proceeded the mock the girl, saying:

“Please pick up your cash tomorrow and don’t come back.”

Escalation through message exchanges

The conversation grew increasingly tense. While the group emphasized that their concern was about accurate billing rather than the amount spent, the restaurant insisted the calculations were justified.

The situation escalated further when the restaurant later posted on Instagram story titled, “If you can’t afford RM400 between 4 pax, maybe don’t come,” which the diners perceived as a public responses to their inquiry.

The post, shared soon after the private discussions, was seen as a response to the diners’ inquiry. They later released screenshots showing further exchanges in which the restaurant questioned their intentions, asked them not to return, and made remarks regarding their spending.

In the following messages, the girls attempted to clarify their calculations, while the restaurant maintained its position and viewed the responses as an overreaction. The exchange concluded with the restaurant reiterating

“It’s ok just don’t come back, and please tell all your poor friends.”

The clarification request later drew attention due to the tone in the message exchanges and the restaurant’s public post. The incident has since circulated online as an example of how minor disputes can escalate when communication breaks down between customers and businesses.
