I am looking to purchase house for own stay. I'm currently staying in PJ, and is willing to look to purchase for own stay. (Me and my wife only).

Personally, preferrably landed house (intermediate double storey house). But don't mind to buy for own stay (for starting). Hence, will consider any high rise property for own stay too. (As long as its safe, and the demographic is peaceful).

My question here is like this, I have purchased 2 PC desktop and I found it is loaded with non-genuine copy of Window XP Professional SP3.

Can I simply buy a copy of Window XP Professional SP2 / SP3 (OEM) licensing and change my product key on the internet without reformat it?

If yes, can you tell me any software / tools / procedure to do that?

Please advice if I bought a licensing of Window XP SP2, can I change /activate it using the SP2 license key?

[WTA] Problem with Notebook PC 56K Built In Modem

Hi all,

I have one question, where my laptop PC's built-in 56K modem does not working and I have tried many times to re-install the driver but still I can hardly connect it to my dial-up connection. Re-installation and checking the modem thru OS was shown ok (success). Even I am success to connect it to the dial up connection, i still cannot browse the web page and it shown got no received data at all. Is this mean that my built-in modem spoilt? Is there any way I can fix it?

Please advice if there is any external 56k modem with USB interface out there? How much is the price outside? And can we get 1 by simply visit to any IT mall?

Hi all lowyat.net user,

Please advice if anyone of you aware of software that enable PC with modem to send fax? I had been advice by someone else that Winfax Pro is one of them but it is quite many problem with the software.

Please teach me any software other than winfax is effective and enable us to send fax thru PC? Especially those softcopy document can send fax directly without wasting any paper.

If can, pls provide me a link for trial version and i can check it out.
