Not sure if the Asus ROG gaming laptop is reliable as I think plenty have heard and acknowledged that they have high return laptop return rate due to overwhelming problems with their laptops as well as 'most' terrible after sales service. Regardless, in 2019, is it still the same? Not sure if they have changed the service centre or agent in Malaysia compare to the past ones. The ROG laptops are great provided at that cheap prices with high end graphics card. I wanted to get them but not sure if they are reliable and comes with good quality.

I plan to get a mid-range gaming laptop with either GTX1660Ti (laptop) or RTX2060 (laptop) graphics card. The GTX1660Ti is roughly cheapest being rm5600-6000 while the RTX2060 is around RM6000-6300. However, something that I'm confused and wonder about is that the laptop version of RTX2060 actually performs poorer than the GTX1070/GTX1660Ti laptop version due to its reduced boost clock and cores to adapt its reduced power consumption. Is that true? Regardless, what should I get?
