Hi all, i recently sold my Beyerdynamic DT1350 and I am now looking for wireless headphones. I was satisfied with the Beyerdynamic and for a long time I didn't go looking for headphones and I've lost touch. I've been eyeing the Marshall Monitor for quite some time because of the looks but I don't know how it compares sonically among the others in this price range. I tested one at RM1200, my impression was it had nice separation, quite detailed highs, a warm tonality and decent bass. I was quite impressed because I didn't expect anything. My preference is for more details and lesser congestion in the bass and low mid. Are these actually good? I've read horrible reviews in Reddit and head-fi.

What other wireless phones should I look into? What do you guys think?

Hi lyn, I am literally banging my head to the wall here.

So, I was walking my dog tonight and as usual I go about the same route in my neighbourhood as I always had. But today I turned for a longer walk and instantly I regretted. The whole road is filled with houses with dogs and they were all barking the night. I walked a little bit quicker knowing I made a lot of noise already.

Then, one of the neighbourhood uncle came out from his house and started beating and kicking his dog. His dog was a black poodle mix. The moment I saw the uncle kick the crap out of his dog, I yelled at him "Hey what kinda no brain people kick their dog like that?" He shouted back at me with some slurs but I just kept walking because I knew I caused a lot of noise.

Hearing the sick whimpers of his dog, I knew I had to turn back. I went back to the front of his house and told him to stop kicking his fcking dog. He came out and wants to fight me. He is one head shorter than me. If I hadn't had my leg surgery I could easily punch him. Okay, this is not about muscles and manliness.

Okay, at this point I do not know what can I do? In Malaysia, do we have the rights to take away pets from abusive owners? What organization can I contact? I hope I don't see him abusing his dog again, but as a future note, it's a good information to keep at the back of my head.

TLDR; do we have the rights to take away pets from abusive owners? What animal lover's organization that we can contact in cases of abuse?

Cost of fixing roof? Brown spots on ceiling.

Hey all, was hoping to get advice regarding a ceiling/roof problem.

Symptoms: Brown/yellowish spots on ceiling sort of like a dot of mold. The pattern is random but mostly appear on the left side and the back of the house in bedrooms.

The house: unoccupied yet and its empty.

Cause:
1. Possible roof leaks? If yes how much approximate cost will it be?
2. Mold due to dampness in the house where no ones occupying?

Is this problem going to cost a lot?

What is the proper procedure of buying a subsale?

Hello, I've found a house that I like and have offered a price that both of us agreed.

1. Upon 1st viewing, I found some red flags that might be a bigger problem like roof leaking and whatnot. So the seller agreed he will fix all of them.
2. On the 2nd viewing which is yesterday, I jotted down all these defects and informed the seller again of my list and again he agreed. I also told him I will compile this into my letter of intent and pay 2% to my lawyer because he is not the owner of the house but his daughter is. And I never met or talked to his daughter.
3. This is where the problem comes, he handed me a simple letter printed out from fax machine that on the behalf of the house owner, he will be taking the deposit. And the letter is signed by him and not the real owner of the house.
4. I insisted on going with the lawyer because he promised to fix the defects and that's what I'm going to write in my LOI. He was arguing with me that it is not necessary.

What is the proper procedure? Do I pass the deposit to my lawyer and he received the money from the lawyer? Or can I bank in to the owners bank account after the LOI?

Hi Lyn, I'm new to property purchase and about to get my first home. I had my eyes on a gated and guarded property, btw, I'm talking about Melaka.
The maintenance fee for my house build up area was calculated to be RM240, which is very high for 1st time home buyer like me. But I do like the house. I'm split between owning the house or oweing too much money each month for the house.

Some more info, I like the landscape the park the walkway and the playground of course. But this GnG has no facilities like gym or basketball court (bummer!). What I do not like is that the back of my house wall after the lawn is directly connected to the outside road. Meaning to say, my lawn fence is the defending wall between me and the outside world. Which is not my understanding of what a gated and guarded suppose to be?

So, what are the advantages and disadvantages of gated and guarded?

Basically an OCD ripoff. You know how it sounds if you're into that. It's really underutilized, I bought it for my band but tbh we're not really a band. I'm more of a metalhead so this just doesn't cut it for my style. Never been gigged with.

Good for metalheads or those who wanna experiment with a flanger.

IBANEZ SA160 RM900
If you're into clean and nice mellow sweet stuff, this is the guitar you're looking for. Pro setup by Martin Looi from Malacca, he's pretty good. Copper shielded and added an orange drop cap. It's really really nice for those of you who play post rock or jazz. Very very nice guitar, I would probably keep it if I leave it long enough. I'll throw in a free set of strings,guitar bag and strap if you get this. Setup to gauge 10-52.

TIMTONE acoustic guitar RM100
Kinda pointless keeping this. Beginner's guitar, low action. Road worn condition. I'll give you a free bag and stand to compensate for it's looks.
